Great game. I solo'ed it as a fighter/thief. They say you can't. The only exceptions were when I was forced to carry Imoen and at the beginning with the whole party. The proficiency part was not a bug. That is just the way it is for multiclass. Straight Fighters can go to Master and Grandmaster. Last but not least. Holy avengers are not the most powerful sword. It is a katana called Celestial Fury.

24:44 I chased this fight how i deal with Lich-es, simular crom using, potection scroll on m monk and Rouge cleric, aria detect teh cleric did was nice, but i steel needed breach es :D ant that ultima-weapon wizard sure was beast in combat :D also one needs a +4 weapon to damage him :D use all items and Amaman's Lawful good touch on the pilar in hell maze to get the sword sure came handy :D

Here is story about a brother an sister Edwin Enax Envoker and Elisa Onax Necromancer. Edwin not a fan of luck based games bu a fan of getting items and stuff done, decided to play with the demon, with Time wand in hand re-making the moment to see what comes (save /load) . He agreed to see this card game, and ohh man the XP all that xp. After wining the first game after the 7th time or so, Jehire was pushed forward to bet experience, its the least she can do after all we took her a good sword over a wish scroll because that was already ware thought to the mages with the (black pit dream plain :D export import magic).bofre the final rond was played but not before Edwin draw the Emperor Elise know his brother wont win this she also see into the future so with a skilfu pointing finger for the 7th time (after time was re-made in testing where it worked the first time) the evil...cool guy demon fell down to finger of Death -4 Necro modifier D and .....the deck was taken :D than they run to the portal because Edwin is squishy (no not the in game Edwin i use different one why same name :D well first character i did not know better :D and Edwin Atrix Onax is my lets say d&D main) anyway we fled leaving our summons already out behind to go back and finish the pets for mst xp :D and satisfaction :D

you say you don't need mass resu because you don't die ever :D you die all the time :D like i do in this frikken dungeon and i stil want a Planar on my last slot :DD (granted i came here on lv 14-is my rouge cleric had Planar i play on core difficulty but i had 2 wizards :D ) also nice work on Thefling room , i had to invi poti backstab everyone to have chance there :D (one the wiza with staff of striking, res needed 2-3 hits :D)

it's 2024, 10 years later thi video and I came here because I'm playing BGII and I randomly discovered a weird house with a unholy tomb and in the Elemental Lich completely Vanished me from the battle... I don't have any idea of how to finish him hahaha... I don't even found this elf woman and the ''hood guy'' you're using on the team... what's the use of the ''skin coat''?? ahahha I need to play more and try this challenge later. (I play with 6 characters I still couldn't do nothing against him hahah)

So, I was able to clear floor one with no guide on a solo mage/thief build, but im a little bit cheese... Allow me to explain I play mobile only, so I started on BG1 and played through to get all the books on a level one theif mage without applying the level ups for the extra cheese. I wanted a solo 'level 1' mage/thief for a BG2 Playthrough, so I have that done and out of the first chapter sitting in a saved game on chapter two at the beggining in the slums. I took a new save, cleared out the weird house in the temple district with the katanas then applied all my level ups then learned all the spells, applied those level ups and then went on a theiving spree, went to watchers keep and used silence and a oil of speed to wreck the priest without doing the ritual and then i did the ritual after to kite the statues around. The portal is open and I might just bypass the rest of them but the first two are dead. Gonna be fun to figure out on the level 1.

You skipped over the Androsyth homeworld right there in Orz space, in one of the Vulpecular .systems. It's nothing critical, but definitely a lot of backstory on what happened to them. Also if you have the SC2 Manual it gives a lot of very well written backstory on all the old races from SC1, the Androsynth are one of them.

I have just finished baldur's gate 3 first time after playing 75 hours. Bg 3 is far, far more better game than both bg1 and bg2. I just wanted to see Kokostern played Bg3 before his passing. We missed you Koko, rest in peace :(

Still come back to this, all these years later and it gives me a lot of melancholy. Rest In Peace Eyal

ok watching this almost right after finishing bg3 and its so cool how many nods to bg2 it had just from the start of the game alone lmao. Also eastern european jaheira was noticeable from the beginning

i would argue the monk never really becomes good unless you are only playing normal difficulty. They just die on the higher tiers especially if using SCS (which I suggest you absolutely do.) I'm revisiting the bg series and this is a good geveral overview although some geveral commentary about thr classes doesn't Really pan out when you play the actual game.

Fun but sad fact: Minsc racial enemy were original Gnoll from Baldur's Gate 1. It changed into Vampire due to their responsible for Dynaheir's death, his original witch.

Hi 'Elly' - I'm an older guy in my late 60s now - a gamer, in the UK in 2023. So, I just bought Baldur's Gate 2 EE...and found KOKOStern's vids - re both BG2EE and his illness. My first wife died in 2003 of cancer in the UK...so just dropping this here just in case you ever happen to see it. I do hope and pray that you're getting towards some sort of 'new normal' life for yourself. It happens gradually, and life memories will trip you up...but somehow a new-normal does begin to come along. And, I know, you'll never forget your love for the wonderful person they were. Eventually the bad memories reduce, but the precious memories are always there. Blessings bloss. TD.

I've just found BG2 EE - and in 2023 I can buy it for around only £5 (GBP) on Steam. A fascinating game to come I can tell, after playing only the opening scenario. Thanks for this Character Creation and others you've made that I'll be watching. Very helpful! Subbed.

I just found this channel while looking for a little guidance on a Baldur's Gate 2 dungeon, and Eyal helped me a lot. I really enjoyed his personality while playing a game he was obviously passionate about. I was shocked when I came here to see if he was still making videos.
