Edit: This only works with Peter and you must have the suit tech Amazing launch for this to work. For anyone having trouble trying to get stuck, do this. First make sure that you already have swing tricks set to maintain. Next get to the very top of the crane. Jump off the top and press square so that you start doing tricks and then point launch on the hook. From there press X so that you get shot upwards and then you've done it. Something about doing tricks won't shoot you forward when point launching but rather upwards.

As of June 6th it still works. I couldn’t get it to work the 1st couple tries until I did the top comment way, so if it’s not working for you I recommend switching to jumping off the crane from the top, do some tricks, use focus and then point launch off

Found a new glitch with the same crane, if you get stuck between the cable and the part you jump on you can just hold down square and let go when you need to, I recommend only doing front flips

This worked insanely well. I gained 10 levels in with the span of like five minutes, not ultimate levels just normal levels but still, but the only thing that I had trouble with was I couldn’t get it at first, but I just kept like Web dashing and spin around and eventually got it. It works really well.

Thanks. I just tried this today and it still works. Only took me a minute of trying to get the jump angle right. I’m sure one day I’ll play NG+ again in order to get enough City Tokens and Hero Tokens to 100% Suit Tech and Gadgets but this saves me having to play through again in order to get all the suits. The game really wants you to play through NG+ twice in order to get everything.

Still works December 30th/2024 👍 if you're not achieving it, just push square right after you launch off the crane. So it'll go like this 1) R2 +L2 to launch yourself to the top of the crane 2) Press x just before reaching it so spider man will leap off 3) soon as you launch, tap square pulling you into a air trick animation and you're get stuck. 3) When you start fucking the crane just hit X every 4 seconds as the video details 👍😊 Thank you for the video

​@@nickp546 no no he's saying he was having personal skill issues, has nothing to do with upgrades its basically you figuring out how to pull off. Don't worry it takes time and patience we didn't master it in one go. It took me like 14 tries just make sure you hit "Square" right after you launch off. So it's the two back Triggers to pull yourself at the crane Push X right before you get to the top of the crane to launch yourself off And as soon as you see spiderman launch himself off the crane push square right after Before you even try any of that make sure you go into settings, "Controls" and then go to "Air tricks" and make sure it's set to "Maintain" otherwise the trick won't work

Can you try to explain to me which EXACT place were you on in the crane when you hopped from it up? And where did you clearly aim your super jump at? And where did your jump land on? I’ve been trying the same way this video has shown yesterday for like probably 20 or more minutes and it still didn’t work out for me, and unless I learn your way in detail, I won’t even reach my 1st ultimate level. Also, did you tell anyone who has the game to try out this way? And did it work with them? Because otherwise the method probably only works with you lol.

So the part the video tells you to grapple to, do that but when you're there, charge jump instead of point launch. May be easier to set shortcut to charge jump so you can do it faster

@@Quesueu You need to hold forward as you do the point launch, and let go of the control stick when you reach the peak of the jump, if you keep holding forward you'll just phase through the crane. I don't really know how to explain it any better.

This 100% still works, I’m doing it now. It’s easier to write a small script to automate the X pressing for you, then you just activate it and leave it to run on its own. Saves you pressing X every 4s for 99min lol.

I can confirm that this works as of ( 4/6/24) . I had one suit unlocked already at the start of new game+ with about 2000xp needed to max out level 2 . It took me just a little over an hour to unlock all suits. Thank Again. 👍
