(And that's saying a lot for a bachelor) I can cook pretty well but with new dishes, many times, they wind up looking like something out of Mechanics Illustrated instead of a cook book. Hi Jan just a tip for ya.i have a pan like you do if you will put your pan on the stove with 1/4 cup of baking soda a little vinegar and water and let it boil turn off burner and let it soak for an hour and add dish liquid and take a soft scrubber and the pan will come out like new.i love your recipes miss Jan.

So enjoy your videos and have learned so much. I got a idea from you and tried it and it so simple and good. Carmelize onions add cubed potatoes. Add water and cover till potatoes are almost done and a cubed brat. Cook till done. So so yummy. Thank you and always be kind!!!!

I do something similar... equal parts of sour cream and cream of mushroom soup without adding water....I saute chicken in butter and olive oil with minced garlic, diced onions, and mushrooms....take chicken and veggies out of pan when chicken is done.....then add soup and sour cream....add chicken back once the soup mixture starts to bubble, and then add parsley and parmesan cheese....serve over fettuccini noodles or noodles of your choice....salad, steamed broccoli and garlic knots on the side..... yummy in my tummy..... love your ideas and enjoy trying your recipes

Jan, QVC has a great set of silicone covered and also wooden spurtles. They are wonderful for stirring large amounts of mixtures of food. I was thinking as you were stirring in your large pan how much more easier it would be for you with stirring. I love my spurtles. Have been able huge for me in the kitchen. This recipe I cannot wait to try. It looks so delicious. Another creative culinary delight from Jan. God Bless You. I hope your doing well. And the family is also. It sure has been cold here.
