Thank you so much for keeping your word and reviewing this! There’s a lot of hidden features this plugin has that I appreciate, but I like to use it as a saturator in the mastering stage. Love how it gives me analog sound in the box. The auv3 version is only $39.99 and sounds exactly like the desktop version which makes it worth it imo

This is Secret Weapon on Vocals.....this one and mono...sounds great..got them both...2 of my favorite comp plugins...if you want you album to sound great....you gota have really good plugins for mixing, tracking and mastering

We live in times of a lot of competition. You’re right though, plugins require support and once it’s gone it’s gone. Comparing them to hardware is fine for the sound but part of the price of the real deal is the investment. Also they never sound quite as good, close but each unit is unique. Better to sell twice as many plugins at half the price in many ways, makes stuff popular as PA found out.

I own both of them, the stereo and the (HW) mono version. It sounds fantastic on the master bus. My inner child want to yell "How dare you say it is shit!!!" But dammit, first, I like you guys too much to do so and second, I agree regarding the price. UAD is giving away their plugins for sale prices, there isn't any decent justification to keep the MDE that expensive.

I completly Disagree....this is hands down the Best analog Sounding "Digital Comp for Vocals...." going in with the Mono...and Widening in Post with the Stereo...this is definately the best "Digital Opto Plugin...online...." this Blows UAD Capitol Comp and bx opto and IK Media Opto and Tone Empire Opto Red....awayyyyy!!!!
