Stinky Plastic Dolls -- the broken doll

Do you own some dolls from the early 1950's ? Well if you do sometimes the plastic begins to give off an odour that smells like vomit . This is the plastic breaking down and chemicals being released from the plastic . Can your doll be saved ? Here are some tips you might want to consider . Twins Pines from Doll Part Supply makes a product called D-stinker this might stop the smell . I did see someone coat the inside of plastic legs with this Diamond product . You might want to try this as well . I have not yet try these but will in the near future . Enjoy !

I add baking soda and cornstarch and seal in containers and leave for a month

I put odo ban on cotton balls inside the dolls, it helped some.

You have so much dull clothes that you forget at all. Tammy. But that's good that you found them. You are probably so worried that you couldn't find them and you're trying to figure out where did they go. Sometimes when I lose something in my place especially my glasses takes me some time to find them.
