Actually very tricky challenge, which I think may not be fair to those that don't eat a lot of Asian food. To stir fry rice, one key is to use overnight rice that was put in the fridge which would allow reduced moisture. So, instead of cooking the rice like normal and then stir fry it in high heat (at the risk of burning the rice), it's probably more wise to keep the lid open when it's 70% percent cooked.

Asians when talking about literally any of their skills : the most humble and understated people in the world Asians when comparing their basic cooking skills with literally any person trying to make asian food no matter the skill level : ultra ego

What commenters need to realize is that, since this season aired, there have been a ton of “East Asian food, demystified” videos on the internet. I guarantee almost none of these contestants knew about techniques or which rice to use or what kind of veggies to use when this episode aired. Even the Thai-inspired dish seems like a replication of something you can get from any Thai restaurant.

Wait hold up flag on the play. Did the Asian woman just say she's never used a WOK before. That's an automatic 6-month suspension on your Asian card.
