This is one of your loveliest pieces of work. I love the tip about having a spare bobbin that you alter the tension on to specifically use for the technique of sewing from the underside. I'm definitely going to have a go!

Another lovely piece. I went to the Knitting and Stitching show yesterday with a friend and got talking with a lady who had done a workshop on free motion embroidered seed heads. I’ve just watched the last two weeks videos,as we’ve been away on holiday, it’s good to be back, and see how this has turned out, I love this piece, the background reminds me of lichen,then the bracken and grasses in the foreground look beautiful. I love it, Emma. Only you would know the mistakes and you fixed them anyway. It is lovely to have your own room. I am fortunate I have two. I have a creative sewing space and a creative painting space. I love having somewhere to retreat to to allow myself some quiet time to do small pieces. Although, I do have a huge canvas which I have to work out what I want to paint that. Have a great week.
