Very nice buttons, and I guess it certainly is 100% true that Vector was Montgomery's answer to Otis Series-1 AND Dover Impulse.

Nice job! It’s like you could start an elevator parts wiring up comapny

This Vector hall station is slightly different to the one I own in a couple of ways (mine is complete, though in worse condition). On the one I own, the micro switches are mounted to the circuit board instead of to the front of the panel. The metal piece is also much smaller on my Vector panel. I also found out that on my Vector panel, I can remove the buttons from the panel by pulling some plastic clips. Do your Vector buttons remove from the panel differently? Do you know if on your Vector panel it is possible to completely disassemble the buttons, or are parts of the buttons not possible to disassemble? The circuit board on my panel says Rev. 2, so maybe this is an older version of the Vector hall station, but it is hard to say for sure.

I’d suggest doing a Gen 2 button but I don’t know how complicated that would be.

Probably not that bad actually. I've never messed with one.

If you ever get a digital floor indicator, can you hook it up to an arduino and make it display numbers and letters? If you do figure out how it is encoded.
@stlelevators6 жыл бұрын
I already have a US digital indicator and I have already made something to make that work :) I will upload that video after the Schindler HT.

I hate to be that guy, but I think the yellowing on the light thingy is due to UV exposure (same thing that makes electronics plastics turn yellow)

8:54, 9:08 Careful with that hot glue gun! That's a thin piece of thick plastic, and you almost burned your fingers.
