I prefer the 1.5 way LSD (OS Giken) over the 2 way LSD or any welded "nonsense" diff. It gives me smoother transitions in drift, better track capabilities, especially in wet, and great for daily driving.

It feels gutless because the gears are too long. Also, you can't throttle your way out of stuff because the VLSD sucks. 350's feel kind of sluggish at first and you can't really put your finger on it, but if you rebuild the final drive assembly with proper parts (gears, LSD, and bushings), they are on point. Edit: Just watched the beginning and saw he has a 2-way. There shouldn't be that much of a problem. Use more RPM.

Get a spare then weld. It's the easiest to drift. You can daily but it's hard on the drivetrain but so is drifting.

Soo - would you say a DE is more torquey than an HR, therefore more capable of standing drifts/better overall for drifting ?

Yeah. I own a 2003 and a 2007 and the DE has a noticeable increase in torque but the HR has a better power band and uprange torque

I do love these reviews, what do you feel about the VooDoo lever I think it must damage the tyres more than kicking as once a tyre locks on a point it will always lock on that same point again, it's a fact that tyres retain the same lock point so it must contribute to tyre destruction!

Formula 1Fan you go through tires fast enough. If you are worried about tires drifting or racing may not be for you. All racing wears tires. Drifting destroys tires.
