@@davidjames1684 I guess you haven't been watching the Dow lately, or the crash of 29, 87, & 08? Stocks were steadily rising , but suddenly plummeted. Stairs up, elevator down. What you witnessed Monday, was a dead cat bounce. The Plunge Protection Team. The CEOs are retiring big time ; they know what's coming. In just this year along, 219 have retired. The market is overpriced. And, even a .50 rate cut won't stop the elevator ride that's coming.

@@davidjames1684 Ok, it appears that you knew when to cash out. However, there will be those who will get wiped out, because greed trumps ( no pun intended) common sense. There has to be a reset of the global, financial markets. They can't come back with a fiat system that's not backed by a hard asset . This debt based Ponzi scheme of creating money from thin air, days are numbered. Central banks are hoarding gold , while many nations are demanding their gold from the Bank of England & the New York Reserve. They're preparing for the inetiable . The gold price will have to be adjusted to its true, intrinsic value, which at a minimum, will have to be at least 8 to 10 k minimum . I, too, have cash ( gold & silver) stashed because I believe there will be deflation before hyperinflation. After that, the fiat currency will adjust to its true value....0. Question for Amon and Chriatina... now that I have purchased Index Funds, ETFs and a Roth IRA, do you have a video on how to fund them monthly. I’m trying to get them going and growing. Is it buying more shares or adding monthly monthly into the Roth IRA? Please help

Curious to know what you are doing with that 2.5 year emergency fund. Is it strictly cash or do you have it in any high interest accounts or CDs earning some interest?

So if we wanted to invest right now for the first time should we invest in some of the Index Funds now that the price has gone down but will likely go back up?
@OurRichJourney4 жыл бұрын
Historically, the stock market has always gone up and down - so the best focus should really be on long-term investing and consistent investing rather than timing. :)
@NateT0924 жыл бұрын
Of course, depends on your investment strategy though and age. If want invest in total market index like VTI or collection funds that track the market you desire to invest in.
