The Nissan Frontier is known to be a capable and tough little truck. I never knew just how tough and capable it really was until Saturday.

Thanks for posting this! The driver is definitely giving Nissan some well deserved respect in the US since we don't have the Patrol in the states not to mention Nissan doesn't know how to advertise it's truck line:)

Wow... this is insane. I'm blown away at your good of an off road vehicle the Nissan is...extremely impressed. It made me really rethink buying a Toyota when the Nissan can handle this. I think the Toyotas are better looking but for the capability of the Nissan and lower price definitely something to consider... especially when this is the stock SV model with stock tires, suspension, etc. Crazy he did this with new truck!

Will still be my daily but got a Titan Swap and coastal offroad bumpers going on it along with sliders and maybe 33s. That 4.0 is peppy so 35s are doable but then I would do too much silly crap! Definitely cringy sounds but I already know all those current parts are temporary so it didn't bother me. Cool thing is these are a smooth belly, just dragging frame.

I like the Frontier powertrain but that was it. Friend has the Nissan and his right doors come misaligned from factory and they say it's okay because no noise... sorry but no. Why in the world would you destroy a new car like this. The money he lost by doing this would be the same it would cost to get sliders, bumpers, and a lift. I don't think about once he removes the bumpers all the damage will disappear
@ryanhenningsen247
@ryanhenningsen247 3 жыл бұрын
Easy answer cause I own it... What money did I lose again? I've never bought a vehicle with resale on my mind, im 41 and still own my first truck from age 17 ( and yes, I beat on it). Some people wax thier trucks or put chrome on em, I go offroad and have fun even if it adds dents. But I fix all my own stuff and can assure you, that truck will be with me 20 years from now.

@@ryanhenningsen247 if it really doesn't bother you that's a fair point. I like to use my truck but I have trouble doing stuff I know will damage it to begin with, I'd rather prepare for it. To me, doing that would outweigh the fun. Enjoy dude!!

@@jacobstein7179 in a bit of my defense, it was rear-ended recently so my rear bumper and part of bed got toasted already anyways. But honestly, I don't like the stress of owning super nice stuff, I feel like I'm borrowing someone's rig and can't have any fun. All my other trucks are 89 or older. This is the newest vehicle I've ever owned and now it's officially part of the fleet!

I love my 2 Frontiers, they are truly better than Toyota Tacoma for off road. In saying that, the frontier has better usable power but that’s where it ends up because the designers of the frontier are complete idiots designing this truck as low as the 380z. I’ll keep my 2 trucks because I know I can get a lot of miles out of them but again, only an idiot would design a 4x4 so low that it is right in line with their Altima, Sentra, maxima.
