Stock Rubicon with 37’s will it work? Have I made a mistake ...

I have since upgraded with Clayton 2.5” with upper and lower control arms. As of now ball joints are doing fine

Looks good 👍🏾 how does it do off roading ? Flexing ? So u need to run a spacer ? I wanna do these on our 4xe

I did put teraflex bump stops to limit travel upwards before I went off-road with it because I didn’t want to rip off plastic wheel well covers. Just until I do a 3” lift kit then I will remove the bump stops. It rides great and sits high but as you can expect did lose some gas mileage. We take the wins where we can. Thanks for commenting.

I would recommend getting bigger brakes (due to rotational forces being significantly higher), hydro-assit (many affordable ones out there), better ball joints, better C-joints, and possibly a re-gear. Doing these upgrades will make your Jeep feel more like it came from factory, if not better. No need for new axles as those are Dana 44s i believe.

We have since did some upgrades. As far as brakes they are working fine probably because of 4xe and is very similar to the one pedal driving like a Tesla. I used braking to charge battery. Thanks for your comment I do appreciate them

Those were test tires I did get 37”Nitto Terra Graplers and running 1.5” spacers

@@kriptnite75 37x12.5r17 and purchased some used ones from marketplace before dropping big money on a new set. Which is why in the video I only had 4 instead of 5

So far it’s holding at 21 mpg in hybrid mode. I do notice the engine cycling on more often

You have the EV much different from standard combustion jeep tho ?that weight of the 37s isn't affecting the ball joints or transmission or anything?or suspension and bars underneath?

No im running the 4.10 gears on the rear axle so far 15,000 miles and 9 badge trails later still doing great.
