MK I just recently bought a pair of the new Jordan 1 lost and found the box is the same size as any other authentic Nike box that I have the stitching on the sneakers is flawless and impeccable the only thing that comes to mind is the glue smell was a little strong so I let him air out but I compared to glue smell to a pair of authentic Jordan one yellow toe that I bought off goat it's the same smell except for the goat pair was a lot more faint so I left the sneakers out for about a week and the smell is gone I figure they were freshly made I'm saying this because these cats come on KZbin they'll find the worst pair of reps to compare retail versus fake instead of finding a good pair and be fair to the public and let them know like yourself that there is a choice

StockX is still doing authentication just calling it verified nothing change just wording goat and eBay have had fakes go through so has StockX but StockX is in Nike crosshairs so wording has to change for legal reasons and if u get a fake I been able to get money back which happened once

They’re still authenticating but they’re no longer marketing the guaranteed authenticity they say they still go through the same process as before I’m guessing they’re quietly admitting that all of their shoes may not be 100% authentic but I recently bought a pair of Yeezy 700 fade salt they came with the green authentic verified tag and yes I thoroughly checked them compared them to my other Yeezy 700 and to my brother pair which he was able to get from adidas they’re legit so basically going forward with StockX the gamble is up to you but from what I’ve heard only a small percentage of fakes slide through the cracks and for the most part you’re getting legit merch but it’s a risk even with goat eBay flight club etc. I’ll admit I probably will use goat more only because I found out that footlocker is a investor and I just seen earlier today a video about goat authentication people stealing legitimate products and replacing them with fakes so it’s all a toss up
