Stocker Trout Bonanza, Ridiculous | Clear Lake, WA

Got the motor put back together on that boat and decided to go after stocker trout on the western Washington lakes opening weekend. We headed over to our local lake in Thurston county. The trout aren't always the biggest but I have to tell you the action was ridiculous and I always enjoy going after stocker trout.

Most are 9-13 inches in this lake. Biggest I've personally caught out of this lake was a 16 incher a couple years back.

Nice trout. Slayed then out there. I didn't know you made your own flasher sets. Those are ridiculously expensive for what they are. I need to learn to make my own. 👍

I just moved here in Cheney which is like 20 min drive would like to know what's the best time of the day to fish at clear lake?

Hey Ruben, my video waa on Clear lake in Thurston county. I have never fished Clear lake in Spokane county. I think there is a clear lake in every county. 😆 that being said, I'd hit it in the mornings for trout top 15ft. If the surface temp is warm, look deeper at 15-25ft on the sounder. Good place to start anyway, go deeper if necessary. Sorry I can't be of more help with 1st hand experience on that lake. Tight lines!
