@@TheWolfElder Rifled tubes that fit into barrels of break-action 12 and 20 gauge shotguns and allow you to fire .22's and some handgun cartridges. Short Lane sells them in 3, 5 and 8 inch lengths, the longer ones are more accurate but of course also more expensive, for example an 8 inch 12 gauge to 9mm tube is about $140 while the 3 inch is about $60. I have a 5 inch .380ACP adapter that I use in an old NEF single barrel 20 gauge. Even with just the bead sight and my average marksmanship skills it's surprisingly accurate. I can maintain 4 inch groups at 15 yards no trouble. Short Lane also sells smoothbore sub-gauge adapters, I have one that lets me shoot .410 shells through my 20. There's even a breech plug that lets you use a break-action shotgun as a muzzle loader. Unfortunately, and not surprisingly, almost all of Short Lane's adapters are sold out right now. Hopefully that will improve at some point.

I prefer/like/am interested more in the SxS...though there are times the pump has advantages. Not much help, am I?
