For me, I have some diversified kit here and there, a storage in another town within hiking distance. I made a plan some time ago in case of emergency and I am blessed to have a wife and family that feels the same as I do. I have the SHTF book and it's a good start on getting the prepared mindset. I built a small network of like-minded folks I personally know. Train, prep, and plan. Think of scenarios and encourage others to contribute scenarios and terrain. If you have a group on obstacles that MAY HAPPEN and work the problem today, when you can set down with a hot meal and pen and paper, not when SHTF when it's a cluster1234!

What about getting plants that produce thorns and food and plant them around your property to help with protection? Desert I would try to plant some prickly pear, black berries, stinging nettle, or wild rose plants.

let me spell out what is happening .. loss of free speech... loss of news honesty... and disarmament of the population... where we let me spell it out C-A-N-A-D-A ... hard to defend our homestead.. some of us think we can only fix it if shtf comes... your thoughts on defense are strong... I have my second retreat or homestead almost ready...defense was huge with its planning ... our group is strong and we have three different places setup (and owned). Septic solar and water are all on... We setup with Hawthorns ... raspberry ... and stinging nettles are planted on our easy routes in. These plants have been choose due to they are protective and edible ... 2 of our retreats there is one road in and out .. water routes .. i could write a book on what we are doing .. but hey .. good video
