I live 3 miles back on a dirt road. There’s a few other driveways, but this winter I had a set of headlights come right up behind me and follow me all the way in through my gate. I put the truck sideways and stepped out with my suppressed scorpion and confronted the FedEx guy.

I noticed someone watching me when I was a youngster way back when. I drove to a gas station, fueled up, pulled to the side and waited the clown out. When he finally gave up, I followed him. He drove to the police station and agresively confronted me. He was training to be a cop apparently.

Keep your gas tank above 1/2 a tank at all times- that buys you valuable range. Keep good tires on, and the car in decent condition. Carry. I was once attacked and subsequently followed while driving someone else’s car. The gas light came on, the top radiator hose blew while trying to get away, and the tires were so bald I slid past a corner I needed to make, losing a bunch of time trying to get straitened back out. Got home, forgot my second driveway was blocked so I couldn’t hide the vehicle. Had about 20 seconds to get inside, arm myself and get ready for them to arrive (and they did. in retrospect I wonder if I did the right thing, but I shot twice into the dirt near the one guy and then beaded on him and told him one more step and I would dump him. They were armed. They left. ) At any rate, being better prepared in the first place would have bought me an escape ticket. Some lessons come hard. Also, running to the local cop shop might not work- rural police departments are often not manned, or just have one person working the desk.

Most police stations lock the doors after business hours. Years ago a guy was stabbed in a bar downtown, he left a blood trail several blocks to the police station, where he proceeded to finish bleeding out on their front door step. He was found hours later.

SHTF in my area and folks seem to be following me Remember, SHTF has happened. Why would they be following me now? It will not likely be the same reasons as before SHTF. There'll likely be less speculative robbing and looting, and more grabbing what you can see. Am I displaying something valuable, like a load of groceries, camp gear, weapons, ammunition? If supplies have to be in the back seat or the rear of a SUV a black velour blanket covers things well and tends to make shapes more amorphous. Especially with tinted glass. Do they think I might have a good way to get out of the SHTF area? A couple of random turns and would probably convince them that I'm lost too. Think about tracking a foraging squirrel. Become the squirrel. Along with primary and alternate routes, primary and alternate mustering areas. Now, someone watching. Mess up their notes. Turn around a few blocks beyond them and go by the other way. Within sight, turn left one day and right the next, When out of sight, resume your course. Throw in alternate routes on a whim. Different times too if you can. Become the squirrel.

15 years ago on my way to work, I noticed I was being followed. I took an alternate route involving a few extra turns to be sure or not. They matched me turn for turn and speed for speed. Finally I arrived into the parking lot at work and they did the same. I exited the vehicle to confront the individual. It ended up being a off duty convience store clerk. She wanted to know why I didn't stop at the store at the usual time before work to get change for the vending machines at work. I guess it was the "Fatal Attraction" thing with an obsessed distrurbed person. I stopped using that store after that.

The dangers in the cities these days require alertness to try to avoid car jackings or jugging, not so much where I live, that said things are changing with all of our new arrivals along with the local druggies. All I can say is be prepared to react whatever comes your way because you cannot plan for the unknown, hence the old saying, 'best laid plans of mice and men' because things seldom play out as expected.

Well for whatever it's worth I don't believe everything I am told or that I read and in general if I doubt something it is usually for good reason, and I am usually right, there is a lot of bs out there for sure. That said very often when you read about some new discovery or hear about it on the news, they usually say scientist have discovered, but don't name the scientist. Simple truth is, is that there have always been bad or crazy people and now we know why, that said drugs ruin a lot of lives and make bad people out of good people and yes, I have had the pleasure of talking to people who are well qualified about drugs and their effects, which are not good. I have made it to seventy-five and been retired for eighteen years so I think I'm doing alright, how about yourself?@@alfanika2934

I know it's already been said but I would and do use counter surveillance if I notice a perceived tail or threat. I think it will be a lot more obvious once shtf. location has a lot to do with it. if you are in the country 1or 2 turns is usually a good indicator. in the city I have had a random vehicle make as many as 5 and they weren't following me.

I love this type of content as it makes people think and form plans. I think the last thing if being followed would be to engage them. That said, one thing I do look at on all my planned routes is for places where I can get behind hard cover with my vehicle. Some place where my vehicle cannot be easily rammed, someplace I can exit and a place that offers a good fighting position with hard cover. A vehicle is not hard cover This will greatly increase my chances. If I can force whoever is after me to be in the open, my chances of coming out with my meat suit in one piece greatly increases. Having been in L.E. for many years, I am always playing the "What If" game in my mind. It served me well.

It depends on who is in the car and where they are going. Is it Grandma with the grandkids or Dad with the baby or Operators operating operationally or Mom going to work, or Dad going to for charcoal for the barbie or the teenage daughter and friend going to the mall. What kind of vehicle and the terrain, rural, city, suburban and also time of day or night. Excellent video, thanks

SHTF will affect everyone differently. But we can expect to see a pattern unfold based on past events. For instance, our inner cities will burn. Suburbs will be looted by armed gangs. The police will be overwhelmed. Democrat areas will begin gun confiscation regardless of the Stafford Act. Populated areas will be subjected to National Guard ‘martial law’ presence. Knowing all of the above has occurred we can use that to position ourselves properly to better withstand SHTF. A simple rule applies; if you follow government sheep dogs you will be penned up. If you avoid government sheep dogs that is why you prep in the first place. What would I do if I was being followed during SHTF? Push the red button releasing metal shards to flatten their tires. Batman style.

I'm waiting until dark. Final preps getting done. Then move to the BOL on foot. It's just 10 miles away Push a mountain bicycle as I walk beside it, 100 lbs of olive oil and peanut butter on the bike 50 lbs more of same, honey, supplements, meds, seeds, spices on a trailer behind the bike. I have a spiderhole to get started in go past it with the bike tracks. Put on the nail sandals to hide my tracks. . Put the food in the pre-buried empty 20 gallon drums, put the bike in the hole, chain it to the tree, and cover it with the camo net and local debris. Get in the spider hole and start digging the tunnel, which will eventually be 20m long, with another spiderhole at the far end of said tunnel The grains, powdered milk, salt, sugar and koolaid are already scatter-buried at the BOL, So I can just use the sedatives and one of the Kindle readers (full of downloaded survival info) to pass the time, staying in the tunnel for a year, while the 99% die off. You guys can have all of that fighting, starving and disease. I only need to come out once per night, for an hour or so, to access a food bucket and cook a meal.

Not just two or more turns but do u turns. If a vehicle takes a uturn, coincidence? If they take two? Its bullshit! Youre being tailed. If you have communication with a team/family member etc, call them to do a counter surveillance on the person following me. Also be aware of not just one but more aggressors. More than one vehicle. Parking garages, one way streets, airports etc. Airports will restrict any aerial assets due to flight path. Perhaps a layoff vehicle in a garage where you can park and jump in with a buddy. Also do NOT go home. Everyone should always take different routes and mix em up as a COA. I spent half a career in surveillance operations. I still drive from my rearview and clean my tail all the time!

Just maybe you'll attract LE and earn a $500 ticket for your paranoia. I can't plan for scenarios that can simply be resolved with confrontation.
