Tom won the wsm for a 3rd time. It's strongmans version of a gold medal in the Olympics or the mr Olympia in bodybuilding. So it was an extremely successful 2024. That title has been the most prestigious for about half a century. It's THE title sponsors care about.

@@bdegrds Brian's is the only one I'd put up there. Rogue can't run anything properly. And the Arnold's is just a gimmick really now. Arnolds was only ever about the money for most of them. Brian knows what a show should have and how it should be ran. If he had the money of a rogue or Arnold's backing his show it would blow the others well away, especially now it has a title. But like o.p said its "The Worlds Strongest Man" that holds the weight, no one cares about the other titles

I think 2024 was the year of realising that 1) You're not Mitch - you can't show up and sweep show after show at RPE 8 without a proper peak for it 2) When you're in peak shape you can absolutely beat him

It's not bad luck tearing calluses it always happens it's just the sport. Why can't you just accept he won. It doesn't matter how if it's fair. And so what if he's 5" taller, that's just taking away from Mitch who is an absolute machine. He's 6"3 which seems to be a perfect height for strongman looking back, plus his speed and endurance is better than anyones, add to that his intelligence and you could argue he should never be beaten. Which is why he hardly ever is
