Looked more into it if anyone's interested “It was never gibberish. Man, I was talking s**t the whole way down. ‘Yeah, that’s right motherf**ker!’ It was just a constant stream of F-bombs. ‘Yeah, that’s right motherf**ker. I’m about to tear this motherf**ker’s ass!’ It was just that. It was sentences. And like I said earlier in the podcast how Ric Flair just believed and was living that character, hey man when I was in that world, and I was in and the zone, that wasn’t no psych job. I feel like a lot of legends have iconic sounds that preceeds the actual music. Stone Cold has the glass breaking, Undertaker has the gong, Rock has the "If you smell what the Rock is cooking" line, Bret Hart has the guitar riff, Ric Flair has the "Whoooo". You're not anybody till you have that one sound that crowds instantly associate with you.

In 1996, it was so different from the other music Jim Johnston was producing. He’d dabbled in hip hop and obviously a lot of rock stuff, but this was very metal. Almost death metal. Very heavy. The Bret Hart theme was very 80s hair metal, rising and epic, but the Stone Cold theme was chaotic, aggressive and hard. It reminded me less of Rage and more of We’re Altogether Now by Jon Oliwa. That kind of metal. And for the time and character, it worked perfectly. Johnston was a master at letting you know within 2 seconds who was coming out so you could react. WCW had some good instrumentals and Steve’s theme with Brian was an example, but they didn’t have the ability to elicit instant pop or heat. WWF had the market cornered on theme music. You need a distinctive intro. And the glass shattering was that. Instantly you hear that and you know who’s coming out.

He ain't lying either, because if you listen to Bulls on Parade by RATM, you'll notice Brad Wilk's kick pattern during the main riff, is the exact same rhythm as the riff in Austin's entrance music. So essentially Brad wrote the 'dun dun daa daa dun dun' groove.
