Very nice video Brad. Super impressed on how quickly(real time?,lol) you realized your suspected non-latched trap may have been opened.🎉 I saw that as you released it!😂 Tried calling your cell #, but realized I didn't have it!!🤣😅 Hopefully, you realize that luvin' that knuckle meat, like me, makes us knuckleheads! I eat that from bluecrab as well. I rate both species as a 10. Although, Stone crab 27:48 butter- dipped w/a quick Old Bay/JO "tap" give Stones the edge!😮 Keep your vigilance/patience/easy-going instruction as the key to your success. It WILL undeniably happen, Brad. Your goal will eventually convert to GOLD with perseverance!

Hey Brad. Such a cool video. As I had lived in Florida, Dad never did Stone Crabbing. Lots of Blues but never Stone. Loved seeing you out there. Heading back next week. Can't wait. Stay Safe out there and look forward to meeting up. God Bless Brother.

Great video I'm using my wire traps for stones all I can catch is stones up here in vero Beach
@How_I_Caught_CrabsАй бұрын
Right on brotha. I hope you catch em up. I kinda feel like the wire catch a little better than the plastic ones. Do you ever get the blue crabs up that way?

When you target these stone crabs is it better closer to the inlets or away from them?
@How_I_Caught_CrabsАй бұрын
Definitely closer to the inlet. The ocean is just a mile or so away from this spot. Extremely salty water out here. Good luck and go get them!

Still have yet to try STone Crab and I have lived in Florida for over 20 years

Too expensive to buy so I get it. Thanks for watching!

Why the water they came out of?
@How_I_Caught_CrabsАй бұрын
I’m going to be honest…Don’t have a clue. I might have just made that up. I thought my old timer, neighbor who was a chef in the Keys for a little while told me to do it that way. I’ll have to circle back on that. Thanks for watching brother!
