In a 2022 excavation at the site of Mont'e Prama in Sardinia two torsos of the famous Stone Giants have been discovered. Dozens of human statues with powerful physiques and staring round eyes were created by the Nuragic civilization in around 1200 - 1000 BC on the west coast of Sardinia. Broken into thousands of pieces, they were found by accident in March 1974 buried under farmland in the Cabras Region. The statues are carved in local sandstone and their height varies between 6ft and 8ft tall. After 30 years in storage, they are now on display in the National Archaeological Museum of Cagliari, the Museum of Cabras and even at two airports in Sardinia. The brand new discoveries prove that much more is to be unearthed in Sardinia and legends of giants, plus numerous 8ft - 9ft skeletons unearthed in 1901 and 1953, suggests these huge statues may be representations of a previous race of giants who inhabited the island in prehistoric times. Includes exclusive aerial footage.

Thank you for bringing up to light this fascinating part of our ancient story. Just one thing for people who wants to go and see this magnificent examples of giants: the name of the town is Càbras with the accent on the first "a". And, there is a theory which tells that this giants reppresent some glorious winners of a sort of Olympics games.

Sardinia is like Luxor, for me, this island is full of tombs where the corpses were buried of all the peoples of the Mediterranean (possible diseases or natural) I visited the South of Alghero towards Bosa. The Italians have a way of burial of bodies very different from other European countries -

@@staycurious0815 I found where I saw those eyes before, but KZbin deleted my comment because I've put some links in the comment. It's not the ones you wrote about, but I can understand why you make the link. Anyhow, there are 2 possibilities. The first is the Kadauma Sumba figures but the eyes don't look the same, only the head is almost identical and the second is a cypriotic civilization that lived around 1400BC and they used the same round eyes.

@@euhm wow, indeed! You are right! Yeah, it is a bit annoying, that KZbin does not allow links to other pages (anymore?) But it is odd: the cypriotic figurines look similar to the ones of the Vinca culture.

Great Video, as always! Interesting thing is they are holding their shields above their heads and looking with either eyes of amazement/awe or they are (as in many scenes from the Maya, Sumerian votive statues, and others) their eyes are possibly showing the effects of psychedelics. are they protecting themselves from dangers coming from above or just raising their shields to the skies?

They are probably the first example of monumental statuary art in Europe, and second only to the Egyptian one in the Mediterranean. In ancient times the Tyrrhenian Nuragics were the lords of the seas, feared even by the Mycenaeans

the ancient Sardinians nuragics were the "famous" Tyrrhenians of whom Thucydides and Homer spoke about, probably relatives to etruscans ans echewesh (acheans) all called "peoples of the sea" in Sardinia there is the largest archaeological reserve of the Bronze Age in the world. and a lot of other stuff is still buried underground unfortunately.

the eyes look ghostly. 2014. was year 2 in learning here. i remember when you first showed this. many of those owls like we see the one drake(the fake) uses has the same hollow look. its on the Toronto Raptors warm up building when driving in to Toronto on the QEW(queen elizabeth way). in regards to the lot of statues itself. reminds me of an army. giants depicting themselves in an artistic manor but why is what i want to know. maybe to show their might? ps. gave a ton of your works to a pastor yesterday. a pastor who in 2013 when i first found you who wouldn't even look or talk about some of what i learned here. he is about to be red pilled. ;) i told him about what is in the Salisbury library. he responded everything happens for a reason like my finding him again and showing him rather then trying to explain without pictures which the subconscious mind needs to absorb into left brain side. doing gods work is a full time job. :)

Hi.these nuraghis i think are actually windmills,,lots of mines under sardinia always in windy places. They pretty much the same in portugal but smaller same internal stairs the centre post securing stone in a couple we visited.funnily not far from calais is another one which still has the sails attached prob 18c.wooden conical roof. Built to last.lots of milling,pumping,lifting etc.a powersource some were mobile,how else do you drill thru granite.

I understand how old these are but some look like they were destroyed/defaced. Look almost like pick axe marks all over them, then down at the bottom of the legs they are still perfectly smooth. This is not a unreasonable suggestion either, as there are religious groups in the middle east whom are destroying ancient sites and artifacts to this day because they see them as blasphemous to their religion. Really a shame. I believe the largest carvings of the Buddha (they were absolutely massive depictions carved into a cliff) were destroyed in the last 20 years for this reason as well as some beautiful ancient sumerian sites. Complete intact giant city walls with intact statues bulldozed into pebbles.

@ronnie-being-ronnie
@ronnie-being-ronnie 2 жыл бұрын
The stories of giants passed down frequently describe them as red haired. They were not described as nice, but cannibalistic. I don’t think I’d be in a hurry to link my genetics to them, personally. And the works that get described as alien in appearance are described like that because they don’t really look like humans of any color. There are statues and paintings that look African, and people generally say so. Many people suspect Africans traveled more across the oceans than they have been given credit for. Archeologists tend to be so rigid in their positions that they are losing credibility, yet they still refuse to see evidence that anyone with eyes can see.
