The album cover features a woman in a swimsuit standing in a pool with a crocodile in it and was created to resemble a 70’s-style LP cover. The cover was made by John Eder, based on an idea from Weiland. The cover model was a family friend of art director John Heiden. Said John Eder, “The little altar in the background was a last minute addition he wanted to put in, and it actually existed in his house, where I went to shoot it.”

I've always thought she resembles Paz de la Huerta a little bit, whom became Scott's girlfriend at some time. Obviously she was a little girl when the album was launched, but both women look alike (weird coincidence). My favorite STP album by far, a melodic travel, full of different harmonies, sounds and gems like "And so I know", I'm my eyes STP's most underrated song along with "I got you".

I love how the liner notes have a "below-the-water" photo of the models legs, that line up perfectly with the album cover, which are actually goats legs. Nice touch.

Yeah I think it’s more viewed as a demo. I’ve noticed early on Scott didn’t put as much effort on the demos. But overall his vocals were struggling at this point, I expect some of these other tracks to be tough as well.

I own the one disc remasters of core and purple and in my opinion they're huge improvements on the mushy low sounding original versions so I can only assume the tiny music remaster will also sound worlds better than the horrible sounding original as well.
