Sarah and Brad reviews! I love Sarah's voice a lot. IDK why I always see people complaining about it. I mean, I know how the internet decides "You have to dislike something to have an informed opinion" but....her voice is wonderful so I don't get it

I agree. There is a bit of rural Pennsylvania in there a la Jodie Foster in "Taxi Driver", but it grew on me after my first few episodes with her I watched.

+jlovebirch I think she is the only person on Midnight Screenings who has never went on an angry rant. Even when she hates a movie she has a smile on her face. Kinda cute actually

Sarah seems to be just so genuinely open minded about anything she sees, even if she thinks she's knows it's going to be bad.

Don't know if Brad and Sarah watch any of the CW's DC programs but Wentworth Miller is currently Captain Cold in The Flash (with premiered before The Loft) and Legends of Tomorrow, which he's pretty good in as a criminal mastermind and kind of makes sense why Dominic Purcell was cast as Heat Wave (both starred in Prison Break).
@reddragon06248 жыл бұрын
So Dredd and Capt. Cold both starred in a shitty movie together. The More You Know

I think some of the problem is that people try to empathies with the guys if you see them as terrible people who have to figure out which of them is the worst person then it makes it better then if you try to figure out how to excuse their actions.

Sounds like my kind of film. An erotic mystery about human nature, debauchery and betrayal with a bit of style, starring some pretty underrated actors. Definitely will be an honorable mention on my end-of-year favorites list in spite of this review. Thanks Chris Cox.

You will be depressed to know that it's virtually a shot for shot remake of the Dutch original. If you think about it , it's not a horribly DONE movie. It's just a horrible story about horrible people. I describe is at a romance story told from the POV or horrible cheating men and an opposite Valentine's Day movie
@kriskelchtermans85946 жыл бұрын
It's been a few days since I watched, but why do you hate The Vanishing-remake? Granted, the ending was a bit more Hollywood-friendly (and stupid), but for me Jeff Bridges' performance alone made it worth the price of admission.
@GrainneMhaol6 жыл бұрын
Kris Kelchtermans You know, I totally agree though that's an intensely unpopular opinion. I resent the protagonist in the original because he was such a moron that he kind of deserved what he got. At least the new girlfriend in the remake shows some guts and intelligence.

Just watched this movie on Netflix, for some reason it says it's from 2014 when it was released in January 2015 but whatever. I didn't sleep all that well so I dozed off somewhere in the middle. I must have missed maybe 15-20 min of the thing and couldn't believe it was still going. Whatever 20 minutes I missed out on didn't mean anything honestly. At the third act when they reveal all the twists it didn't take much for me to get caught up. Plus I feel like all the stuff with Cyclops and that short haired blonde girl was pretty pointless. She was a red herring that turned into a love interest and it's.....I couldn't care about any of these characters, much less (soooo much less) a fucking love interest with these 5 dipshits that had long proved they don't know crap about having a decent relationship with _anyone_

I'd advise against watching the original as well, it's just as much a godawful piece of shit as the remake, and its actors are absolutely terrible. How the hell this trash even got remade is a mystery.
