@@iKadaj Well, allow me to explain. :p So, John Wayne -- king of the Cowboys, one of the whitest dudes to ever walk the Earth, played Genghis Khan (for real....) in 1956's The Conqueror. The doll looks like a Genghis Khan doll, hence the reference. :-)

I was in a Dollar General last week and found the Puppet Master 6 film collection DVD set for $4.95. After the clerk rang up this classic, an Orange Mountain Dew Kick Start and a Kit Kat, she said "two dollars and 49 cents". I didn't question it and when she handed me receipt, Puppet Master had rang up for 1 cent...I looked up and said, " That's about right."

I remember seeing this as a kid as one of our usual late night rentals back in the 90s. It was so weird! I couldn't remember the plot but some of the scenes stuck with me for years. I was genuinely surprised to hear that the franchise is still going. I really should get back to these I don't remember the last one I saw. (Maybe 5?)

This was every bit as great as I thought it would be! I only made it through the first 3 or 4 Puppet Masters, so judging by that list of sequels, I've clearly got a lot of catching up to do. WHAT THE HECK!~ I was so terrified of these movies as a kid, i couldn't get enough of them. Now come to find out 25 years later that they were set in the town I used to live in as a kid (bodega bay) is down right creepy coincidental and fucking amazing. Coincidentally this is also the first video on this channel I have seen (i know wtf how has it taken me so long) and you've got a new sub!
