I'm doing this for almost 25 years in my professional opinion you don't need to run to many numbers of diamonds pads,also is not necessary that machine ,just spray bottle for small areas like counters,or showers...he's doing a small piece of marble...imagine 2,000 square footage or more to polish...really? My experience: Marble with deep scratches @120-800 grit and polish. Without scratches 400-800 grit and polish Dark marble after sanding you need to crystallize with steel wool that set guys Thanks for watching

Gallito Comenta millions of ways to skin a cat my friend! This is just one example how to get professional results without powder polish. We have our own powder and it works great but as you can see in this example its not necessary.

Remember he's teaching dummies mate. Dummies that in fact would be better off financially and emotionally by not spending hundreds to thousands of dollars on tools and replaceable items and instead using that money to pay a professional to do the job once.

if I'm geting this right for lower grits You use a lower rpm and more water and for higher grits(+1000) You use a higher rpm and less water right? Im polishing my marble floor with a polish machine a apply water separatly(I dont have a machine like) at speed 2 wich should be around 1500-2000rpm but I cant achive that gloosy finish and the tiles stay with some sort of darkish stain all over, like when we dont rinse the water properly. any tips? I can't buy material where I live, nobody seels stuff like that.

What do the 9000, 13,000 grits do? Would those be used as touch up pads when you already have a shiny surface and just want to enhance the gloss?
@MrHabitat0096 жыл бұрын
pisces person to be honest in my professional opinion anything above 3,000 isn't really noticeable and if there's light scratches I'd run 400-800-1800-3000 and then polish.
