Hey Tina hope you're doing good. vid got suggested by the Almighty Algorithm god. I am not being lazy or off my grind, but then I am dealing with trying to motivate people who are stuck at present, perhaps that is why. Wanted to say, all our actions compound. All. This is why investing is really a thing. It is an aspect of all decisions not only in financial decisions. This is why choices matter. They don't only matter in the moment, but they echo and reverberate into the future, potentially very loudly! I have been made aware that our actions are being added to the block-chain of all events of this Universe since the beginning of time. Not aware if you follow crypto and you'll see the analogy. Also to any girls, please do appreciate how beautiful you look in your 20s and into your 30s. Before you realise just how much, it will have passed. All the best

Don’t like the title?…. Then check yourself, better yet, get over yourself. You sound like a grown up,,, well grow up. There is nothing offensive about anything you don’t accept as offensive - believe me YOU control your offense especially when they did not make it personal. What’s wrong with us controlling our own emotions?

It’s crazy how relevant this is. As an almost 32y Econ grad who’s suffered from serious bouts of laziness and a lack of interest in pursuing further learning, I’ve definitely suffered in my life and career over the past 7-9 years bc I was on autopilot. Many people are finding it difficult to even sit down for an hour and focus on one task.

I'm tired of being lazy, and as an almost 30-year-old it makes me feel bad most of the time. I know that once I actually start trying, it'll get a lot better though. Like how I started working out during the lockdown, it was a great experience and it became a habit. I noticed at times, I have to push myself from an external source, like signing up for an online class that is live and requires my participation. It helps me do the other things that I normally put off such as udemy or coursera classes. So by getting busy, I tend to be more productive during my free time.

If you haven't yet, try reading Atomic Habits or subscribe to the guy's newsletter. There is a reason this book has a cameo in this video as one of her "treasures". A basic idea behind the book is that having a system for building habits is incredibly helpful in the long run.

I feel like you have a general content template which consists of your journey from pre med to data science and you then tailor that template to different video titles with a few extra snippets and plug in a sponsor. This helps you churn videos out at scale in an assembly line like fashion. Makes sense since you treat this channel as your business which decouples your time from your value generation.
@Mongol-at-heart Жыл бұрын
I feel guilty when watching this channel because Tina is such an intelligent woman and her videos have so much intellectual content but I watch her videos only because she is pretty. Half of the time I don't even listen to what she is saying but love to hear her talk and watch her pretty face and mimics. I think that when a woman is very pretty, no matter how clever she may be, we men are not going to pay any attention to that but focus on her beauty. What is strange about a girl like Tina is, although she is so pretty, she focuses on developing herself instead of trying to get ahead using her beauty. What a strange girl ! And yet so pretty !

Finally stopped being lazy and watched the whole video. To note, Sorelle Amore’s Abundantia website has a disclaimer at the bottom of the page that states the content in her KZbin channel, and other communication channels, shall not be construed as financial, investing, accounting etc advice. Also says that particular website and associated KZbin channel are for “entertainment purposes only”. Then goes on to say that you should “always” seek the advice of “licensed” financial, accounting specialists or contractors etc before making any relevant decision.
