You are a hero. This is what the world needs. All the ads for art courses are excessive. This is a breath of fresh air.

This video made me reflect on shopping as a way to console myself, which conceals a “poor me”, victim thought. Shopping is no therapy! Just sharing. Thanks Albert!

One of my orchids is about to shed a leaf and now I can't wait to paint with it! I also have one of those wobbly silicone brushes for brushing oil on food before roasting it. It's been waiting for me to get back to acrylic painting. Thanks, that was really inspiring!

Hi Pru, thanks for sharing, I love this so much. Just put the fun back into art. I can't wait to see what you will make. Albert

That's so cool, I wonder how the leaf painting went! I'm trying a turkey baster next and I'm so excited

You are such an inspiration to me! You have no idea. You've gotten me back into painting and trying all sorts of crazy things and some of my paintings are actually not bad for someone using construction paper and acrylics! Can't wait for the next time you ask viewers to share. I want my paintings critiqued but I'm also a little scared lol. Happy painting and thank you again!!😊

Thanks Megan, let me put it like this: you have no idea how happy your comment makes me. Especially that you got back into painting. You know, I just have fun doing my thing, not thinking of outcome result or whatever. Suddenly I get a comment like this. Goosebumps. Albert

Hello there! A while ago I wanted to make a few large paintings with speckled paint all over them (like a snowfall). I got a new toilet brush. I put a little diluted acrylic paint into the holder. Then I lowered the brush into the holder, picking up some paint, shook it a bit to remove excess and then flicked the toilet brush over the painting. Thank you for your channel.

Thanks, Suzanne, a toiletbrush wonderful to hear. Thanks for the tip. Have a great day, Albert

I love this having only started art properly in lockdown I had limited resources although it’s slowly building into a very nice supply. Bubble wrap is one of my favourite tools for creating abstract backgrounds, palette knives too.. masking tape and yarn are good tools too. I like your mandarin painting for a first try I like it, lessons learnt are always valuable and so many lessons for me to learn right now. Today I think I will play with chalk pastels for a change
@ImperfectPaintings3 жыл бұрын
Hi TJ, thanks for sharing your favorite art tools. Indeed, a lockdown can also 'help' to be more creative on the tools part. Happy painting, Albert

I like to drag the edge of a paper towel (kitchen roll) over the surface of a very liquid, thickly applied paint, alternating between the edge of the paper and the corners.

There is a channel on YT where the artist paints things with unconventional objects. Things like combs, and bottles, etc. I forget his name, but he's pretty good at it. I'll post it again, as his name/ channel escapes me at the moment. Good video.

I often use old strips of mount board or cardboard. I sometimes rip the edges or score with a craft knife and see what happens.
@ImperfectPaintings3 жыл бұрын
Hi Steven, thanks for sharing. It sounds interesting. Do you mean you use the pieces of (damaged) cardboard to apply the paint, or do you damage the cardboard surface and paint on it? Albert
@stevenwoolard40473 жыл бұрын
@@ImperfectPaintings I use old card instead of the brush, although I have been known to use scrap paper and card to paint on as well.
