Probably the best instructor (diction English AND Chinese; clarity; choice of examples; personality) on the net. Learnt more here in 1 hour than from all my former coaches, personal work, etc in last 2 years.

Amen to that! I like the other guy, but he comes up with the most odd sample sentences and he doesn’t sound natural. You speak clearly (without all the awkwardness). Your teaching style is effective and sample sentences are PRACTICAL. 多谢你

Along with this one, if there was a top ten list of must watch KZbin videos for Chinese learners, Mandarin Blueprint could easily grab half of the spots.

👋I started evening Chinese classes a few weeks ago. I am French and fluent in English. I'm learning 中文 from both french and english.💪 I realize that we also have a lot of different words to apply in certain contexts, but French people have become lazy 😅. It's good to dig in and bring it all out to understand the nuances of the Chinese language.

Your method is the best ❤❤ Thanks ... Actually I found it hard to understand the structure of chinese sentence... it is very hard to translate from English to Chinese with the correct order of words even I know them call. Would you please simplified it in a separate video?

How I differentiate 东西 and 事情 is that I think of what is tangible and what is intangible. 东西 - things I can touch physically. 事情 - things I can't touch physically.

Hi, regarding the difference between bu and mei you. in this sentence according to my book mei you refers to the present, if i understand you correctly, you say that mei you is used for the past, could you clarify. thanks very much for your videos. wǒ méi yǒu hěn duō shí jiān - i dont have very much time

I meant in terms of negation only, not the meaning of "have". Sorry that wasn't clear!

Hi Luke, you guys at MB are right the traditional system/way of learning Mandarin is broken BUT you're fixing it. I wrote and passed my HSK 3 a long time ago and I want to try pass my HSK 4..... it'll be my second try 😅 this video was really helpful. Thanks for the help all the way from South Africa 🇿🇦. I wrote my HSK exams at the 德班理工大学孔子学院 。

We don't but you can use our method to learn Traditional characters
@joewdowski7806Ай бұрын
@@MandarinBlueprint Traditional is hundreds of years of writings before 1949 and is used in other nations outside of communist China and Singapore. It is also easier to read. It is the difference between a sign with a line with a line through it compared to a picture of a cigarette with a line though it meaning no smoking. The other problem is that simplified was used by the Party, so they can rewrite the past to control the future.

@@joewdowski7806 Language is thought, agreed. But simplifying the Chinese characters not PRIMARILY an ideological but a social project, e.g. combatting illiteracy.
@joewdowski780615 күн бұрын
@@pilou5783 Taiwan it very literate with traditional Chinese. It can be learned easily. It is like understanding a no smoking sign with a picture of a cigarette crossed out as opposed to a single line crossed out. The later is easier to write, the former is easy to understand and read.
