Pretty sure they do make an actual proper cartridge filter for those, theres like 12 different styles of shop vac filters and like 5 main ones. The weird tiny ones are a pain in the ass to find but they do exist

It's been great! I actually use the vacuum more often now. It is so easy to switch back and forth between filters, and the dry filter doesn't hold on to much dust, so it is a lot easier to swap without making a mess. Vacuum is running strong as ever.
