I'm autistic. I'm trying to simplify my recently diagnosed life so I don't burn out. I have happily eaten porridge oats/rolled oats for the last 15 years for breakfast. It's changed over time.Started out with a tablespoon of sugar and full fat cows mill. lol! today it's oats with peanut butter, raspberries, blueberries and zero/low fat yogurt added in and blended into a smoothie. I don't know why I don't get meal fatigue with the oats..but then autistic people struggle with switching up things. The multiple options actually make me burn out too and give me anxiety.

Oatmeal is great, add flax seeds, hemp hearts, protein powder and peanut butter keeps me full for hrs!

I luuuurve your granola. 💖 But because of my stupid mouth I struggle eating whole nuts or seeds so I blitzed it a tad into like biscuit crumb consistency. Sooooo good on top of stuff. 👍

Autumn - I just found your videos and have been binging them! It makes all the difference for me to see all these ideas of things to eat, keeping it easy! My daughters are also watching now and they have elementary/junior high age kids. They are looking for after school snacks that are easy and full of protein as they run from one soccer practice to another after school, when kids are starving. Have you done any videos on snacks for kids/adults that need more protein and not necessarily seeking to lose weight?

Hi Keila! Yes, you can use dragon fruit in a smoothie but you'll want to ensure that you're not adding in a lot of additional sugar through juices or high sugar fruits. Hi Autumn! I have been watching your youtube and I love your videos there are so informative. I know your big thing is using protein for weight loss so I have been prioritizing that for about 4 weeks now and definitely have noticed changes and so many less cravings !! But I did just notice on my protein powder container it says “do not use for weight reduction” and obviously I got nervous so what does that mean? Is that just the marketing or will it actually make me gain weight even though i’m eating well and including protein? I’ve been using the Isopure protein powder.

Because if limited time in the morning i do struggle with variety for breakfast. I pretty much eat greek yogurt, bluberries and protein powder every single morning. With the exception being sometimes in Saturdays ill make eggs. Every other morning i just dont have time 😢

What about egg bites and meat you can pop in the microwave? Prepping smoothies the night before or enough for a few days at a time? Leftover dinner? Cottage Cheese can be made savory or sweet (with low-sugar fruit). Prep protein waffles or pancakes?

fruit is my sweetener...unless you are strict keto...i use raspberries and blueberries and started off with stevia and now I forget the stevia and only use the fruit.

This whole food fatigue issue is a bit annoying. Just as Autumn says, chicken can't only be broiled or grilled or whatever. Make it as a salad or stir fry with noodles or cauliflower rice, etc. Alternate the protein sources, have white fish, or try turkey or any other source of superior quality protein source. The same applies to carbs and I am not only saying about potato or rice; the same applies to the vegetables and fruit you consume. Eggs are also remarkably diverse; you don't have to only consume them boiled. Food isn't an afterthought, food is fuel. Cheers.

Seems doesn't work for me. I can eat apples, potatoes and some kind of meat every day. And guess what, I will gain weight, because I can eat 10 apples in a row and even notice that I ate something.

fat and protein will stop you feeling hungry and/or over eating. track your macros. not supposed to eat 10 apples in a row..it will upset your gut and spike your blood sugar....resulting in...weight gain....
