Hey Cyn, I am not a part of the 7 day challenge but I have utilized the information you give out in your KZbin videos. My hair is better than ever. My hair was rough, dry, brittle and lost its shine. I suffered from extreme shedding, like I lost about 50% of my hair. Doctors, hair stylists and dermatologists had no answers for me as it was not due to dermatitis, Vitamin deficiency or anything else. Since watching your videos My hair has stopped excessively shedding and my hair feels soft, silky and its shiny again. Thank you. The basic info on what to do is there, you just have to go look for it!

What are the main things that help you cause I’ve started to wash my hair once a week is that good?
@_Karesha6 ай бұрын
@@Bri-rw7ik What works for me is not putting anything on the scalp unless I'm going to wash it off, not leaving my hair wet. Not too much product on my hair. Scalp massages, teas(that you drink not on your hair). My hair was pretty damaged so I got a protien treatment and a deep trim. I also wash my hair about every 10 days. Sometimes earlier if it starts to feel drier or if it just feels like it needs to be washed.

Hey Cyn! Thank you for your knowledge, this was a great video! What you say is ABSOLUTELY TRUE!!!💯 After just 2 months of not putting anything on my scalp but shampoo and scalp scrub, Ive noticed so much improvement. Before, my crown of my head was starting to thin progressively, shorter than the rest of my hair, my whole head of hair was stagnant in length overall and crazy itchy, red and flaky. All of that is gone now. No soreness, no itching and my crown is filling in very nicely and I notice my blowouts now are so much fuller already! Oh and I'm transitioning now, even though I know it's not necessary. But I have a few inches of beautiful curls I haven't seen since I was 11 and it'sso thick. So even though I will be blowing out my hair regularly because for me it's just more manageable, which is why I never stopped relaxing before. Keep spreading your knowledge because it literally saved my hair!😇🥰

I've been doing the 7 Day challenge now since Jan. 2024 and I can tell you, my hair is flourishing. I have very little if any shedding and once I blow dry it, I just roll it with some foam rollers during the blow dry week and my hair looks fantastic.

Thanks for sharing my testimonial Cyn! Any stylist worth a grain of salt would tell you not to walk around with wet hair, don’t cut curly wet hair, hair is weak when it’s wet, sand hygral fatigue and mechanical damage is a real thing. You can’t get heat damage from blow dryers when you’re using a leave in, you need to understand if you have a lower high porosity, because that determines your products, and most of the time heat damage occurs with flat irons because folks don’t know what they’re doing. We haven’t gone to cosmetology school and Cyn teaches to learn on mannequins and not our hair because we’re not test dummies. How can anyone argue with the content that she’s sharing especially when she’s sharing the science and even the teas we should be drinking for internal results? This natural hair community cult stuff needs to stop.

Every body's head is different. I wet my hair almost every day and leave with it damp. My hair is perfectly fine. I use a protein keratin conditioner a few days a week to combat moisture overload. Also a person can most certainly get heat damage from a blow dryer
@IamCynDoll6 ай бұрын
You don’t know what you’re talking about. Water damages the hair and skin if used wrong. Blow dryers do not cause damage people that don’t know what they are doing damage hair. Instead of trying to put yourself and others in a box learn how to use the tools that you don’t understand. Your lack of understanding doesn’t make things bad it makes you a person who lacks the knowledge needed to use the tools. Protein doesn’t stop moisture overload did you think about what you just said! Your hair feels good but it’s fighting for its life. Learn and stop pointing fingers. Our bodies are made the same we both bleed red. It’s the ignorance that separates us. I literally treat woman who think like you on a daily! They think they know so much walking around with wet hair and one day their hair starts falling out in clumps and they don’t know why. I’ll definitely be making an example of your comment. Women like you are the reason most professionals are done. Smh

Hey Cynthia I'm your biggest fan 🤩. I binge watch your videos. So educative but a few questions I don't have a blow dryer and a flat iron... Are there other ways to stretch the hair? What's your thoughts on remoisturizing the hair... I'm a little confused there? Love from Nigeria ❤

I’m confused about the no protein for low porosity hair because in one of your videos you said don’t do protein or keratin,so I stopped with the protein treatments immediately, but then in your Amazon low porosity product list there were some with protein. I have never used keratin though.
@IamCynDoll2 ай бұрын
As I said before a couple times. Amazon mixes up my list all the time. Your suppose to follow the science regardless . It’s very simple read the label as expressed in my last few responses. Read the label and if it’s protein rich on the label no don’t use it. Simple.
@FNJ7202 ай бұрын
@@IamCynDoll ok, I’d never heard you say that Amazon mixes things up

Remember my channel is about learning the science and following that not me. Learn porosity and the way that it works. It could be a test for a giveaway to see who’s paying attention.

@@IamCynDoll ok, I’m literally watching sooo many of your videos for this past month. I’m trying to soak up all this information because my hair is thin and I’m working on getting it thicker and healthier. I’ve stopped all the over manipulation and “team natural” practices. That stuff was good until it wasn’t just like you said. I really have to do something different now because of my ccca, psoriasis, and thinning.
