I love that you are covering the sensitive subject of hair loss and big hug to Courtney for being so willing to be open and honest about her journey. Courtney looks amazing and lucky her for getting this treatment for free. Though I’m a fan of the subject in terms of helping others feel that they are not alone, I don’t feel this video helps that. For any normal person the cost of this is ridiculous, I’m in the UK and pretty much no-one I know could afford to pay $1,500 for hair extensions. Trying to make out it’s good because you keep them in for 8 months 😂. For us average wage earners $1,500 would be about 3 years worth of cutting and colouring. I don’t have hair loss though I am in the middle of the menopause but I feel kind of sorry for those with hair loss who would watch this video and see an amazing transformation they could never afford. Sending love to anyone reading this who’s feeling that way ❤

Wow! I’ve been wanting to get this done for so long. I’ve lost hair due to several reasons I’ve been told by my Doctors…1- From having Covid twice 2- Menopause & 3- Stress.. I’ve been taking care of my sweet, dear mom for the last 3 years b/c she had Alzheimer’s Disease. I’m an only child. I didn’t want her to ever go into a Nursing Home. She was the sweetest person you’d ever meet. She just passed away very suddenly on Feb. 5th, last month. I miss her so much.💔💔💔Now I’m the last of my family left. My husband finds my hair all over the house. It always clogs up the vacuum where the roller goes around. He always has to cut all my hair off that part of the vacuums. I used to have nice thick hair but not anymore. Courtney’s hair looked gorgeous!!! Thank you for showing us Courtney’s hair being done Dominique. You’re so kind. Bless you both.🙏🙌🙌🙌💜💜💜

What a coincidence…getting my second set of extensions. Unfortunately, I went to a friend who did not get extensive training. Part of it was me thinking how much I could save going to her. And as the saying goes…you get what you pay for. I have lost hair at both sides and have breakage. She also did not place as a halo and folded the ends…short story…a disaster. And I am 60…and I deserve to spend the extra money and get a professional install with beautiful hair. Thank you Dominic…this was a great experience to watch! And what a wonderful friend you are in helping Courtney in her hair journey.

I had extensions for two years. Probably the best decision I ever made at the time not only for my confidence but to relearn how to properly care for my own hairs health. Now my own hair looks like it did when I had the extensions, thick, full and pretty long but the big bonus is saving the $500 every 6 weeks on coverups and color retouching. 😊

I’m so happy for you!! This is going to be LIFE CHANGING!! I’m 47, so more of the “middle age” that they’ve referred to. I just got hair extensions for the first time ever about 5 months ago & I will NEVER go back. I have thin hair to begin with due to genetics & then you add a thyroid condition on top of that, well, let’s just say it’s a struggle. I’ve always struggled with my hair, even to the point of having anxiety about knowing that I had to try & style it & battle with it to get it to do SOMETHING. Not anymore!! Everything that Rachel & the technician were saying is exactly correct & what I was told by my stylist who do mine. I also have Bellami hair extensions as well & they have held up wonderfully. Extensions do require maintenance & dedication to keep them & your own hair healthy, but to those of us who aren’t blessed with beautiful hair, it’s something we’re more than willing to do. It has changed my life, my self-esteem & the way I look at myself as a woman, even if I don’t do anything with my hair at all, at least I HAVE hair now. I wish you the best of luck on your hair extension journey & have no doubt you will love yours too! ❤

I’m really surprised that Courtney didn’t go the route of a hair topper!! That is really all she needed. But, I will say the results of this procedure are stunning!! I know the impact of thinning hair and how it effects our nself esteem, so I truly have compassion in regards to this. In the event, Courtney ever gets to a point of not wanting the upkeep, keep in mind Mimi’s Wigs in Dallas! Kim is the owner and Misty are both extremely knowledgeable!! Much love! Janette

Hi! The method we did on Courtney will need to be maintained in the salon about every 6 weeks. About every 4th maintenance appointment we like to remove everything and completely reinstall so that we can give the hair a break. The hair itself will last for about a year. I love having my stylist do a Brazilian blowout on my hair along with the extension hair because it makes them blend together better and also last longer. Thank you for watching! ❤

Dominique, does Courtney know about the possibility of having hair transplants performed by an MD? It works really well. She will solve her problem and will finally be able to sleep comfortably. I know three people (2M and 1F) who have had this done and it's great. They take hair from the base of the neck and make grafts in the thinning areas. During the process, she could wear a long bob for a few months, which would look absolutely stunning on her and would elongate her silhouette. In short, it’s really a serious and good option to consider for the future. Au revoir et à bientôt!

@rachelgower430210 ай бұрын
It will depend on the method they are using…most stylists charge $150-$200 per row to install (most people have 2-3 rows). But, if your stylist does the Bellami beaded row then the maintenance appointment is really quick and affordable. It takes about 20 minutes and will usually run about $150. Definitely ask your stylist these questions before you get your extensions! Thank you for watching! ❤

@rachelgower430210 ай бұрын
Hi! Ask how long they have been doing extensions, which methods they specialize in, what brand of hair they recommend. Ask to see before and after pictures and read reviews for the stylist and the salon! My favorite method for fine hair that could potentially become damaged or broken is the waterfall method or the Bellami beaded row. Thank you so much for watching! ❤
