Thanks Tony. I'd like some information about the 'emulsion tube' in the HP carb as the holes are so tiny. I was tired of it running rich and just put an NT on my 100cc instead. The Jet kit sounds like a good plan.

Ok, I’ll dig into it to shore up any gaps in my own knowledge.

Tony, I have to open the throttle on my HP carb when turning the idle screw in, in order to effect a change in the idle. If I leave the throttle closed, I notice that the adjustment screw butts up against the slide, jamming it. With the throttle plate raised the screw slips underneath the throttle plate, raising it as I turn thr screw in. That's how my HP carb is set up anyway, and I don't see anyone else mentioning that. Maybe I have an oddball carb?

It's a horrible carb man. I got one too. Just use your nt carb.

The screw is tapered so it Does raise the slide.That's the 'idle adjust' he was talking about.You were correct in noticing the screw jammed the slide as you should always twist the throttle a bit,and hold it, when 1st setting up your new carb. so it Doesn't screw Into the slide, instead of under it.

@bryduhbikeguy Thank you. I never hear anyone mention that little nugget of information though, guessing maybe why so many people don't like that carb.

Master, can something float on the top of the fuel, where it low throttle but cruising speed and the has a different sound lost of power. Now it not holding a idol.

Why does it say on the website the my carb is a 7 mm?

How do you keep it running continuously. When its in idle?
@Michaelsmith98453Ай бұрын
You see the little screw on the left side of your carb,its the idle screw,you need to turn it clockwise,do it every half turn and keep doing that until you get it to idle

Hello, I have a problem with my bike, it's new, I've ridden 50 miles, it's very hard to start it when it's cold or after a day of standing, when I manage to start it and it warms up a bit, it starts nicely every time, I have this carburetor with a red casing, do you have any idea what could be the cause?

Cold Starts sometimes just take more time depending on the weather. You can try running it slightly richer (moving the throttle needle down 1 slot), possibly upgrade your spark plug/CDI, or use a bit more fuel while priming it. When you start it with the choke (since it's not automatic) once you started, open the choke slightly about half-way. Once it's warmed, you should be able to open it all the way.

also for the little pin on the needle, you can try adjust it the opposite way as well, just know you're running it leaner and it will run hotter.
