I spent $1,500.00+ USD to get lessons at Golftec and I find myself coming to every new video that you post to learn how to actually play golf. The 5 checks that I have along my swing completely shut me down. When I use your method/tasks, I gain about 30 yards and tighten up my dispersion. The best part is that my back doesn't have any pain. Thanks for all that you, Sav, and Mu do!

🙏 for the spring reminder, tough to forget though when this is all you think about before every shot! I have implemented your technique into my game over the last 3 years now, and all I can say is AMAZING RESULTS, thanks 🙏 so much for your wisdom! My favourite part of your technique is how it has saved my back#1, also the way it has freed up my arms, almost feels like I can reach to the moon in the backswing, total freedom, I have picked up so much effortless speed. It really is amazing! Also all I have to think about during swing is just make a nice full turn and throw that club at the Target!!! This game becomes so much more exciting when you know your going to flush it, also it is just as hard to control the excitement as it was the stress from fearing a miss..etc..etc.. One thing I am trying to get better at is how to throw to different heights like you have talked about for different trajectories.. Currently I am using srixon z585, Do you ever find a point where you need a players iron to hit these shots?? because it feels like everything just goes high.. Love You Shawn, oh yeah, Love Seb and Moo Too!!
@golflessons3 жыл бұрын
You can hit different heights with your clubs no problem; use the door frame analogy for lower and stem to cut for higher.

Couple weeks until the course opens. Can't wait! Will try to implement these ideas in my practice. Trouble is, when you're on that first tee with buddies looking on, it's really hard not to try and "hit the ball"! I pick my far target, pick an aim point, pick an intermediate aim point to align too, and while I focus on those things, I swing all arms and snap it straight right with a wide open face. LOL, can't wait!
@golflessons3 жыл бұрын
Accept that possibility and then throw the club into a nice release with ease and velocity with conviction into the direction you want to start the ball-that is where the party is! The ball is either a part of that party or not! See “predict perfect contact and direction shawn clement” and “how to put the ball in the way of your swing shawn clement”

Nice video! I would have like to see the camera behind Sav as she threw it through the target opening. .For some reason it reminded me of the time a number of years ago during the winter session that you swung at a metal locker and just grazed it with your club. I anticipated that you would at least put a slight dent in the metal locker door. It was exciting because of the impending danger of the result of the swing.

Great video Shawn! Your videos have changed my game! Love how you show us how the body works together. My question, trying not to focus on the ball, where do our eyes look? Behind the ball? On top of ball? In front of ball? Thank you for all you do for us!
@golflessons3 жыл бұрын
You park your eyes between the ball and the leading edge of the club-that little green sliver of grass-SO YOU CAN SEE THE TASK OF CUTTING THROUGH THE STEM OF THE DANDELION which is in the centre of the ball; and then everything goes blurry as your attention is on whipping through that stem in the direction you want to start the ball!

@@golflessons Would you say it's like taking the heavy swinging motion of the club head and guiding it thru the ball to the target? The hands and fingers are the only way to move the club with speed but you never mention the importance of the hands; all the parts of the body you talk about in your videos will move if kept relaxed if the hands swing the clubhead. Why are teachers afraid to say the hands really control the swing, especially the fingers on the club?

I'm hitting the ball just like the way you showed me here. It is not that i learned it by watching your video but i happended to swing it this way because i really did not like the impact using the neutral grip and bowing. The problem i'm facing however is a massive hook to the left when i swing it too fast this way. I found out that the strong right hand is causing the club to close at impact. If i swing it slow then i don't face this problem.

I know this sounds ridiculous but it’s no wonder I’ve been having problems along with so many of my friends. We’re throwing the club head and not the butt. No wonder we can’t get the elbow to come through! So even if I’m going to the target I’ll always cut across the ball because it’s coming down the wrong way. Throw the butt has to be my mantra not throw the club. Duh to me! 😅

Apart from the low amount of turn of the body in the backswing; he manages a low level of strain from a softly loaded arm-club unit that deploys nicely through the ball into the picture!
