I alternated between using Vanicream gentle cleanser, Zapzyt 10% Benzoyl Peroxide gel, Cerave Salicylic Acid face wash, Differn, The Ordinary 10% Azelaic Acid and finished with Aloe Vera gel then an unscented moisturizer like Vanicream or Cerave. TMI: I was able to get rid of a rather painful and large ingrown hairs in my intimate area using this protocol. I also wore pads to ensure that any exudate was caught and the area stayed dry. It healed really well. I wish I had this video a couple weeks ago though, I ended up reading tons of articles to get this information.

Magnesium sulfate paste BP!!! This stuff sucks all the infection/pus right out of the area. Take a big amount mix it until it gets thinner and then put it on put loads on and then put a plaster over it by the next 8 hours it would have pulled everything out and the bump will go. It also pulls the ingrown hair out to the surface of the skin. It also can be used for splinters it pulls them out by itself. It’s really cheap too!

I don’t feel any shame anymore. That video where you explained how to properly clean your vaginale has been really helpful because I felt as if my vagina was not clean enough and caused for a lot of bacteria as I don’t shave because it irritates my skin and make it grow back painful (I only trim). The doctor always told me not to clean with soap but after watching your video I gave it once again a try and it has never been any better. And I make sure it isn’t anywhere near my vagina. I wish there where more people like you❤️

This story is so unusual I had to share. It started with a hair feeling like a splinter on my arm. Then once I tweezed it from the hurting it was causing. I could not leave the hair alone. It felt like a splinter, so I had to get it out. Then I would pull the hair it was tough like leather. But I would continue to pull until it would leave a ripped place in my arm. It looked terrible especially with 3 0r 4 rips on my arm. But once the hair was out it felt better. Of course now I have scars that look like I tried to cut myself. I'm Caucasian, The scars really show. Now after going through that for about a year, staying in not wanting to get out. Now after a while of that, it changed to little circled hairs on my skin, and this was on my legs, I would tweeze the hair and pull it out of the indented circle in my skin. And of course my legs begin to scar. They would itch and I had to get them off my skin. These were not under the skin like the first ones. After about a year of that. No topical antibiotics or oral helped either. Then I started having a place be it arm, leg, face, where ever. I would see a small looked like blackhead pop up. But wasn't a blackhead. The itching indicated a need to see if it was a hair. And sure nuff it was. After trying to pull it out, it was to the point I would get a tiny hair out. Then look and there was another black dot, top of another hair. So after pulling out about 6 or 7 hairs for over and hour of discomfort I finally got to the bottom of the last hair and it was hard to get out. But left a deep hole in my skin, not to big just deep. To get that last hair. So now it gets even wilder. That went on about 6 months. Then one day I started having having a chin full of course hairs taking about 3 hours to pluck them out. And occasional hairs around on my face. And some hairs would just lay against my face maybe a forehead stray hair. And it would just stuck into my skin on its side just laying there. I noticed one hair was embedded in my forehead and for each time I would try and get it out there was another hair stuck straight in my skin. It lead to several hairs that was like they were packed in my skin like sardines. Even needing a pair of clippers to clip them apart making a hole in my head as I went. The more hair I would get out the more they were hard and course and stacked side by side. Just as if I was trying to chip away at these hairs until I got to a soft unaffected piece of skin. After about 3 hours of getting those packed hairs cleaned out of that hole in my forehead. I had a hole the size of a penny and about 1'2 inch deep!!!!!!!! Another phase in this journey , I wake up one day and felt like a wood splinter in 2 of my fingers. And yes, got to trying to pull the splinter out. But of course it was a hair!!!! Then an occasional one in the bottom of foot or toe. Yea, crazy. After trying to removed the hairs from my fingers they would begin to move over as if the hair was growing underneath my skin moving from the original place i started removing the hair.. And by the time I got them hairs out, I would have to use either white surgery tape or bandaides on my fingers till the soreness would go away. So now my fingers, part of face, legs, back and part of my chest has white tape or bandaides on them. Woke up one morning, looked like about 2 inches of my shoulder length hair was just broke straight off as if it were cut. And since then about 4 months my hair has been thinning out like crazy. Ive always had thick thick hair. Well Im buying wigs now!!!!!! Dermatologist dont know what to do. All of my hormones have been checked. And, I am beside myself. Have you ever heard of such a crazy case? And to top it off. I can be standing or sitting and get a bee type sting. It's a hair trying to poke back into the the skin. All of my leg hair now is laying down and gets barried into to the skin, and when I look, yep there's another hair thats poked through the skin underneath. When I get it out there are usually 10 to15 tiny little hairs that are somewhat matted together when I pull them apart. Most hairs are small a few are fairly large. But to get the the very bottom hair its very deep.. I wont go out wrapped up in tape like a mummy. Who in the world has heard of this? I bought a home hair electrolosis remover but im sure you have to go over and over the whole body many times to see any progress. I dont know who to go see any more. Its ruined my life... Please let me know Dr. or anyone what in the world is going on????? Best Regards Linda Email: linda19563481@gmail.com

I solved my ingrown hairs on my legs forever, it's the best treatment iv found. My legs would always burn and I would just itch them all the time. So I stopped shaving them!! That was a year ago now and best decision ever :) my confidence with my legs has also grown, because I have just accepted my natural hair on my legs, so I'm not worried about the hair length anymore. And when I thought about it I felt silly for shaving my legs in the first place.

Word. I get ingrown hairs on my bikini line and my armpits.I know what to to do to get rid of them but sometimes I get lazy. If I shave my armpits every day or every other day, it removes a bit of the top layer of skin so my hair never gets trapped or grows long enough to get trapped. I'm very sweaty and I don't like the idea of my hairy armpits on show. Then there's getting the hair trapped in your bra or panties or stockings. I find that far more unpleasant on a daily basis than the few ingrown hairs I suffered on a monthly basis. Even If I let it grow out I'd still need a new swim wardrobe because I don't think public swimming pools are pro body hair....even the men shave or at least trim as much as they can. But all the pro swimmers male and female remove their body hair. You are more flexible at the beach but most of my swimming is done at a family pool.

Hi Dr. thank you so much for both of your videos. I am a male and have very fair skin and am now dealing with spot redness and several intrafollicular penetrating hairs in the section under the belly button (happy trail) after shaving with a razor 🤦♂️ i was able to get some hairs out from under the skin using a sterelized needle but some I cannot because they are too deep but I can still see them. But from poking at the skin with the needle I have now caused more redness and inflamation. What would your advice be? Exfoliate using the glycolic acid, use shaving cream, hydrate, or laser to kill the curled up hairs under the skin? To get rid of the hairs and then to get rid of the redness! Thank you so much :)

I can’t even cut my hair with trimmers that cut too close or else my skin reacts. Even when getting a haircut if my barber gives me a skin face my skin reacts. I have a tendency to get irritated in my bikini area after shaving. I actually manually exfoliate (Salux washcloth or exfoliating gloves) that area several times a week and use BP soap in that area daily. I rarely have issues plus the BP soap kills bacteria that causes odor!

same but sometimes I get lazy. Lol and don't want to scrub that sensitive area too much.

Hello, Doc. May you please do a review about Esme Organics Hair Begone Jelly (all in one inhibitor and calming gel). They claim it to be safe and the reason it works is because it causes the hair to be in sleep mode in simple terms. I hope you notice this and thank you in advance 😊.

I have noticed the skin under my neck scarring after shaving. I am aware my skin may not be younger as before but the scarring is becoming noticeable. Being mixed with dry skin, I have no idea what to use now. Any help will be greatly appreciated Dr. Adedeji❤️.

It's weird. I itch more with the hair than when I don't have the hair. lol! I always forget especially during the pandemic and let it get too long and then it gets caught in my panties. Ouch!! Then I go get rid of all. luckily my hair grows very slowly and very finely.

@@marleyhill34 I itch pre or post period when new growth is happening. I'm now thinking of having a routine, maybe weekly shaving to not even give it a chance to show up😂

@@lindanava345 You probably still need to moisturise and exfoliate every day, especially with shaving.
