The world is in dire need of men like Jordan Peterson and there are actually people out there that don't want to let him speak.
@hehe1556
@hehe1556 2 жыл бұрын
It’s because he gets so politicised all the time. He’s trying to speak from a psychological perspective and his words always get twisted around by the media. If people listened to him they would be so much better off in life
@dirtymike4894
@dirtymike4894 2 жыл бұрын
@@hehe1556 I'd say that's pretty accurate. The media does that to a lot of people so they can get their viewers outraged and increase their ratings. Have you ever seen the interview he did in Scandinavia somewhere? It seemed like the other people on the panel were ready for an argument but then they actually listen to Peterson and he won them over with his logic. I mean, they didn't say he won them over because then they would be canceled, but you could tell he did.

I never realised for a long time that I suffered from a lack of confidence. I never walked with my shoulders straight. I never cared for how I looked even at some points. I looked at a lot of positive things as stupid. I thought all along this was me “being smart” and not caring what people think and being independent n confident and all. I had lied to myself for years. I was scared deep down, scared of positive change and letting go of this negative side of myself. But I started to be honest with myself about my weaknesses with regards to confidence, I began to dress better. I straightened my shoulders. I started to exercise after resisting it for years. Be courageous not afraid. Always embrace positive change! 💗

Its crazy how so many people go through the same things, myself included. This was a nasty cycle i found myself caught in after it got to the point of using drugs daily to dull the pain of it. Im currently on the road upward instead of down and every little success feels better than any of the drugs did. Im blessed to be on the other side of this and i hope for everyone that is where i was the absolute best.

Yeah the trouble with peterson is he over complicates and over analyses everything to the point of exhaustion. His talks don't effect me because i lived enough and know myself enough to know what i must do, i never even finish listening to one of his talks because i find it boring. But you can imagine some confused young people becoming even more confused after listening to peterson. This is the trouble with the current world, people don't think for themselves anymore. Working out life now is seen as some gargantuan complication when really it's just a simple puzzle. Ok take advice off people and use what you need but for gods sake think for yourself. Does peterson know you ???has he ever met you ??? These guys are selling their brand,, its only concepts, ideas, most of which they got from someone else.Same as all these self help, and spiritual guru books, it's a joke man. Do you think peterson has all the answers on life??? Does anyone??? No, no one does. A lot of the time i find what they say is bullshit and has zero connection to my life. And i'm not against peterson he may help a lot of people all i'm saying is they don't have all the answers and there is no such thing as a perfect person. Before the web we were much more spontaneous and natural and listened to our own intuition instead of constantly looking to everyone else for guidance and answers. Life's a game,, you play it how you play it, ups and downs,make mistakes and learn from them. There is no perfect theory. Just think for yourself,, follow your passions, listen to your heart, keep healthy, look after yourself, try your best, and be nice to other people.

Here is one way to look at your life. As a young person, you needed someone who believed in you, which then gives you permission to believe in yourself. Without that experience, you will develop low self esteem and self worth. Which means that you will be drawn to others who hold the same view. We always pick people who have the same level of self worth that we have. We will also look for approval from them and not get it. Instead, you should look inwards for approval which you must earn in order to “own” it. Not from others who are really competing with you and want to hold you back from growing. Raise your level of self esteem and you will pick friends from a higher level. This will positively affect the entire outcome of your life. Ask me how I know this to be true.

Has anyone made a copy of this with the bad language bleeped? I would like to share this with my grand kids 10 to 15 years old. Good info, that shortchanged our vocabulary. There are tons of words better to use than profanity.

I’m been super down for a while, contemplated suicide for a while but just focusing on cooking (my job is a chef) the hardest part is having a good day then coming home with no one to share it with

This speech hit hard... But to use a qoute from a movie.. " to solve a problem, first you have recognise there is one".. if you dont know that you have a problem.. then you cant set a goal and take the first step to get to that goal....

Its not easy if not even impossible to stop others doing something that is destructive, its right to be supportive and critical if needed, but you cant save someone who dont wanna be saved, it will lead into long conflict in which both sides will be losing, thats my opinion, maybe its possible to do it if you are persistent... but you can either just let them go or very possibly make an enemies from them if you will try to make them stop from self destructive habbits, our habbits are sense of self and we are doing them because of something we identify with, most of the times even very deep down, these people need to look for improvement by themselves its not possible to help them, there is a knowledge that is needed to be provided and a person who is willing to accept it or at least to reconsider some things in their lives, one is not enough without the other
