Chicken breast should always be juicy, never dry, or overcooked. The truth is, if the chicken breast is dry, you are most likely overcooking it. You are also most likely overcooking it because you are not using a meat tenderizer to even it out. Chicken breast is always thicker on one side and thinner on the other side so if you are not using a meat tenderizer to flatten it out, one side will always be super dry and the other side will take way longer to cook. Today I’m showing you a very simple way to make juicy chicken breast if you don’t have the time but for optimal results, I highly recommend you marinate any meat you work with overnight. Marinating chicken overnight will give you the best results but if you don’t have the time I’m showing you how to make a very delicious and juicy chicken recipe regardless.
INGREDIENTS:
3 boneless skinless chicken breasts pounded into equal sized filets salt to taste
lemon pepper seasoning to taste
avocado oil for the pan + a drizzle on the chicken

Amazing. But the best i ve done is to brine it. One hour minimum. Just sprinkle salt on each side and let it rest for minimum 1 hour. It's so tender and Juicy👍
@infallible7425
@infallible7425 Жыл бұрын
I've done that before its called a dry brine I believe. But a better option is to make a brine with 4 cups water, 3tbsp salt, and 1 tbsp dark brown sugar. Brine your chicken breast for 1-2hrs in this, then coat with your favorite seasoning blend. I personally do 1½ hrs though
@kinggeedorah947

@@infallible7425 i tried “wet brining” but i didnt really like the results the chicken breast came out slimy rather than juicy, it’s definitely a preference thing; dry brining is the sweet spot between juicy but still firm chicken breast :)

I think what most home cooks fail to do is understand what's happening in their pan. In Marco Pierre White's words, always question what you're doing and why. The chicken breast is probably the second easiest thing to fix after the mayonnaise: higher temperatures - shorter cooking time - longer resting time. Other things are much more difficult to fix, especially desserts and pastry products. A high end cake is mathematics, physics and chemistry on a plate.
