Where would one find the ultra-thin self sticking sponge wrap/tape (1:21)? In a medical/first-aid supply store? What would you call it? BTW...Love the armature I ordered from you. Top quality!

That tape is a veterinarian one but should be the same for broke legs or so

Hi again, Edu! Can you suggest a brand of liquid latex? My supplies were cut to minimum and I'm constantly struggling finding liquid latex for special effects or masks. Will the latex for walls (the waterproof type) work? BR
@edupuertasfruns8 жыл бұрын
I use RD-407 from monster maker, I don't know the one you say, but imagine that all you can buy in a fx store would be good enough for this.

Thanks, Edu! You helped me alot again! Keep up the good work!

how do you make the outside body of a puppet to look like skin if he was a shirtless character for example? thank you! love your channel!
@edupuertasfruns5 жыл бұрын
Then you must make some casting moulds. Large process
@thepuppetstv5 жыл бұрын
@@edupuertasfruns yikes!! im making a story involving indigenous people and would have some warrior type characters. I've made my puppets out of wood but articulating them was an issue...limited movements and the joints not being able to handle the repeated movements. Do you also build puppets to spec from customer's drawings? Im a woodworker by trade.

@@edupuertasfruns ty!!! appreciate you taking the time to answer! we are going to give another try with wood..I will send you some pics when we have them built...we built over 100 puppets at one point, but gifted away most of them to friends and family.

You can build a articulated puppet out of lego hinges + ball mounts 😊

+ edu puertas-i want to know if the wire armatures with tubing are made for sculpting or same thing to armatures socket and ball.
@edupuertasfruns8 жыл бұрын
They are also for stop motion animation. The only thing is they are made of a specific wire of aluminium that lasts longer and they must have detachable parts if it brokes. But in fact I use them a lot.
