Blade's is one of my favorite repaints, the missles don't bother me that much but on a rescue vehicle it would seem to do the opposite. :P can't wait to see the rest of them team.

Since he's called Blades, and has no weapon blade I modded a spare GNT Springer sword I had and put it instead his original blades. some red paint and go... Now he has a big blade, and a less obstructed arm mode.

An impossibly stupidiotic molding error: the slots on this mold's butt aren't completely done on my Blades, so he can only do robot mode & arm mode. He can't do helicopter or leg modes. Ever.

I love the mods you did for the figures, but is it a crime that I don't care if the arms are the missiles? I honestly think of them as foam bombs.

You should review your figures before you modify them... It just makes more sense to show fans what they'll be getting before you show what can be done to improve the product

because they're 20 bucks a pop, and I'm not collecting generations scaled figures anymore. I grabbed Defensor, Bruticus and Superion because they scale well with TFC Hercules and Fansproject Intimidator. mainly I use these figures in side animation projects, and gestalts I can play around with the scale in robot mode when talking to other bots in post edit. but i would rather save myself the hassle if I can. so I grabbed combiners that were all roughly the same size that's all = P

No disrespect to the mods you did on Blades it still looks good nonetheless, But I feel like you couldn't done a cleaner mod just by swapping the arms from the Victorion Helicopter twins since their arms don't have the missile bits

i totally agree. in fact I even mention that in the Victorion review itself. but, I didn't end up keeping that team and therefore didn't salvage the arms. 175 bucks after tax for a figure made of repaints in a paint scheme I personally wasn't fond of. it's ok Hasbro, I'm good

Blades is probably the most boring of the Protectobots simply because he's just a repaint with a new head. The others are either really good remolds, good new molds, or Hotspot. He's not bad, hes just not exiting.
