@Jonathon Banasiak Bullshit... plenty of times police will fire. Both driver and passenger has shown disregard to life and then top of that passenger has shown to have a weapon. If this was real life, that driver and passenger would be dead when they started accelerating towards the rookie on the street. But if we let that slide and imagine the rookie ran after them in real life. When she saw that gun, the whole situation changes and top of that, the driver went straight into a civilians car, again showing no sign of regard for other life. That means, when that driver reverses, the police officer is well within the law to give the fucker a couple more breathing holes. If the passenger started running, with a gun and with what he has done, police is well within the law to blast the fucker in the back. If this was real life. Those innocent civilians getting hurt in the alley would never have happened because the criminal cunts would be long gone.

I'm late to the game, but, I've been binge watching Chicago P.D. like crazy. Not a fan of Chicago Fire or Chicago Med. I like Chicago P.D. a lot. But, there are a couple of things I have a problem with. These detectives all look like they just came from a G. Q. Magazine shoot, instead of looking like real undercover detectives. I don't expect them to look like the Det.'s on Law and Order SVU, but, they look just a little too hip. Need to be dressed down. And second issue, is why the ENTIRE team has to go on these raids/ busts almost every episode? Other than that, great show. Voight is my favorite character by far.

Breeze Cardenas Well they ARE the Intelligence Unit after all. They go after high profile cases all the time, so raids/busts are kind of their speciality. And this is Hollywood after all, so expect them all to look very pretty. (Hell I’ll make the case that all of the cast members on SVU look sexy)

I grew up around LEOS; my father was one for 35 years and my mom was an attorney. Some cops wouldn't have even given a warning, they would have shot. The rest, after giving 1 warning verbally, would have shot about 3 seconds max after that, as soon as he threw the woman down. I kept saying that when I watched the scene "You're staying 'Stop or I'll shoot' but you aren't shooting.' What the f--k ARE you doing? Either shoot or shut up." Stupid writing.

He seemed to connect last season with the woman who helped him on a case, but had been involved in a crime 10 years earlier. Sorry, don’t remember her name or the episode. *****Looked it up: her name was Laila, S6-E8 “Black & Blue”.***** When the smoke cleared she went to jail, after the D.A. cancelled her deal, after their suspect got killed. He deserved better than that. I hope Kev & Vanessa continue to click. He deserves a life outside P.D. & someone to share it with.
