Absolutely the best information and most golfers I see and play along with are far too locked-up at their address. I am also often locked-up too in deep thought, etc., but every so often I think back to about 45+ years ago when at the driving range I would say to myself ' don't care so much, don't think at all, don't give a _ _ _ _, address just a second or two and swing away.' It worked out beautifully every time. Not always long with a driver but solid and I can always feel and hear that 'meaty' sweet spot. Thanks again Zach for this critical reminder Dean Seattle

this is a good way to look at it, kinda like in tennis where you anticipate where the ball is going to land, run over to it and hit it back over the net without too much thought. thnx.

Hi Zach- What a timely and important message for this 88yr old guy who's trying to recapture his game. Believe it or not I used to pull this during a round with my buddies and to their amazement I'd drill it. Now those days are long gone but I'm still athletic enough to try and pull it off and I have a special thank you for the reminder to loosen up. I have been ball bound and this will help not to take myself too seriously. Be good-Russ

Clear the mechanism was from the film “For love of the game”, Billy Chapel played by Kevin Costner.

So true. And we forget about how much is to be gained from the correct frame of mind.
