I can identify so much with your discussion of fear and pain. I’m terrified to move and fear falling. Thank you.

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia long time ago . Never took any medication for it. I deal with it by exercise and staying positive. Thank you for backing me up on my approach.

Happy New Year dear Bob and Brad. Thanks for all the help you've been to me over the past couple of years. I love this approach of overcoming fears by doing baby steps and then progressing from there, rather than overloading with strenuous requirements at first, which have the tendency of getting people to just give up which is what happened to me just before I found you guys on KZbin about 2 years ago. It's what you taught me that got me moving again and has improved my mobility and, most of all, my outlook and approach to my ailment. Much love to you both, Annette

I'm actually in physical therapy for my right shoulder and I've been working on strengthening the side of the shoulder and that portion of range of motion. I've done the pullies and also the wooden stick exercises.

I love all of the videos that I have watched of yours, thank you. I suffer chronic pain due to Ehlers Danlos. My spine, shoulders, hips and knees bother me the most. I do not often use pain medication as I do not like them. My diet is healthy, no vices and am not terribly overweight. I sleep horribly due to extreme discomfort. I have tried meditation but have real trouble quieting my mind. I avoid exercise due to pain and exhaustion . Hoping that you two may have some recommendations for me. I am a mother of five grown children and I am 57 years old

Liliesandpaper I am not sure what I have, but have been sick with breast implant illness. I have autoimmune and have removed my implants, but my symptoms are still similar to yours. I’m going to look up what you have, since I’m looking for possibilities. I’v had pain since childhood. My real point was that I will pray for you so that you can enjoy your life! 🙏

Thanks for your channel and the book recommendations. I had a spinal ablation in November. I had great hopes the pain would go away, but it’s come back. I am to,d that I need a fusion surgery, and that scares me very much. No guarantees that it will work either. It also was terribly difficult during the holidays to keep an anti inflammatory diet.

Bob and Brad I'd like to suggest a video topic. Right now that it's winter time and we spend our time indoors, specifically in bed, lounging. What products do you suggest for good back posture while in bed? Sitting on rolled towels is what I'm doing now with a pillow behind me, but is there anything you can suggest, tips and tricks to keep a healthy spine. Because the the rolled towels are a bit uncomfortable. Thanks and happy New year to your both and your family and work family. Xoxo

Thank you for the resource - Melissa Cady D.O Paindemic: A Practical and Holistic Look at Chronic Pain, the Medical System, and the antiPAIN Lifestyle. I was curious about D.O. and found her credentials online - a physician trained in an osteopathic medical school followed by allopathic postgraduate training; board-certified in anesthesiology and fellowship-trained with a board certification in pain medicine.

Love your videos guys. In one of your videos you stated that it was a bad thing if you still had sciatica and the back pain goes away. This is my problem. 7 weeks in and little or no back pain, but my left leg is on fire. What do I do? I am doing your recommended sciatica exercises 7 or 8 times a day.
@BobandBrad5 жыл бұрын
You may need to see a PT in person or see your Dr again if you are not getting any response from these exercises. Sometimes sciatica can be very challenging. I do wish you well soon.

I've gotten into the habit of doing some easy movement and stretching the first thing in the morning, while I am still in bed - that way, it does not feel like it's so painful as muscles and tendons attempt to work after they have been resting all night. Then I save the really intense stuff for later in the day, after I have had a chance to wake up & warm up. And I am going to predict that you two will become very busy seeing patients with painful problems in a month or so, after everybody goes to the gym for their New Year's resolution and starts swinging kettlebells around or something.

I recently had a bulged disc. I've noticed that I experience symptoms on my left toe just right before I go to the gym. I initially thought that it was because of me bending down to tie my shoe lace. But two days on a row, I had my shoes on well before going to gym and I had these symptoms on the thought of going to the gym. Is this possible?
@mddell585 жыл бұрын
*I'd love a reply, PLEASE. Seems almost every time I turn around I rupture another disc. I have DDD, spinal stenosis, & more. What exercises can I do that will help build up my weak back muscles? I've already had a discsectomy, corpectomy, & fusion (C-4, C-5, C-6, C-7.) Thank you! I'm a new sub., started watching your videos about two weeks ago. You two are awesome!*
