So sorry. Know that your heart is broken. It will take time. It never gets easier to lose a pet. Last Dec we said good bye to our fifteen yr. old Border Mix. He was so sick with health issues. When the morning came that we knew we were taking him to doc for the euth. our Lab pup brought Wes a toy and dropped it right on his head. Was he saying bye, too? Take Care.

Alaina S alot of people cant handle huskies they can be a pain to take care of because they require a ton of activity and stern training and on top of that theyre escape artists . So im not honestly surprised he was abandoned

Unfortunately movies and TV shows glamorize dog breeds like this. People go out and get one thinking it will behave like the dogs from the shows or to be like fandom memorabilia. It's hard to care for them, they need a lot of training and excersising, stimulus and huskies "talk" a lot. They grow much bigger then you'd think and will get into everything and can easily over heat and die. Living in Alaska I can say the also need companionship. They get board and lonely. We use them for pulling loads, sled in winter and cart in summer. I saw a huge rise in breeding and sales after the first season of game of thrones was released and it just kept climbing. Other breeds wolf like in apperenc too. Malamute huskies and wolf highbreeds too

I of course agree that he's adorable, and as a husky owner, I can say that they are one of the hardest breeds to take care of, especially since they have such big personalities that make training and care pretty hard. Their talking is absolutely adorable I think, and their ears are like miniature tent flaps. They can be hard to handle, especially if you don't have a lot of time to spend with them, as they are a breed that needs a great deal of socialization, exercise, and stimulation. They make amazing playmates for other dogs and children, as they were traditionally raised alongside children, but horrible guard. I mean, the literal worst. They have absolutely no sense of stranger danger, just stranger *play*. On top of all that, they have really unique personalities and they're so stubborn that if they don't like something, you will KNOW. I'm not surprised that people commonly give these dogs up/abandon them if they can't handle them.

yes and no.. you do also separate the blood from the donor in some cases.., In others you use the blood from the donor as it is :)

I didn't realize they manually do it with a giant syringe. I guess they have to since they don't just grab stuff from blood bank.

Not a vet, but it appears this dog's total blood volume was low. Other dogs, like IMHA pups, need just red blood cells.

I could be wrong, but I think the youtube system would demonetise the uncensored videos without them being flagged by people? (I think that's why they usually have the uncensored version separate, so if that one gets demonetised, hopefully the censored one won't) I'm sure people flagging it is a problem too though, unfortunately. I would hazard a guess that a lot of the videos showing human operations are demonetised too.

snow30 fox there’s tons of companies you can register a microchip with. They wouldn’t be able to cover them but they could explain the concept.

And you just register them online. At my clinic, we've started charging a registration fee and doing it ourselves because so many clients weren't doing it, even if we called to remind them. The microchip is worthless if it's not registered!

Jenny N I asked my vet how to but found out 4 years later they lied about microchipping my dogs after they already charged me for it not to mention what they did to my dog when she got spayed. I wish you or vet Ranch was my vet

I take my dog to banfield and they gave me a tag and i went online and applied my info needed for the chip to be useful. It depends on the place you go to also i think.

He is so beautiful, but what really strikes me is his incredibly expressive eyes. At first they were kind of dull and despairing but by the end you can just see his happy soul looking out at you. I rarely get tears but this one got to my heart. Have a wonder life Ice!
