I'm considering getting a C7 Z06 for a daily driver. The road noise was a big issue. I was going to have sound deadening of some sort installed under the factory carpet. I would add this in as well. I am almost through your whole C7 list. Thanks for the video.

Hi Justin: I love this product, now more than ever, and ordered my set with the Lloyds Z06 logo mat for my CALLAWAY SC757 Z96 over two weeks ago from TKO Performance and haven’t heard a peep from them and they have not responded on their website. Deeply disappointed - if I don’t hear back from them by end of week I am canceling on them ordering from you. Love the channel and thank you for what you do!

Thank you, Dion! I know TKO Performance is having trouble keeping up with the demand for the Blockit due to manufacturing constraints. I actually drop ship directly from TKO and they are usually close to a month out for the blockit because of the worldwide shipping delays of materials. I am very close with Ed (owner and operator of TKO) and he does everything he can to get these out the door asap!

Wow, that stuff is awesome, those before and after we’re very noticeable. Wonder if they are working on any similar mats that would help that tire hum in C8s too. I will be adding these to my C6 ZR1 and C7 ZR1 for sure. On a side note for tire noise, I took off the run flats on both ZR1 and C8, and tire noise was very noticeably reduced , ride quality improved, little cracks in road you would hear and feel are now 90% gone, now with this product will be quite as a cadi lol. Very good information. Keep up the good work👍

Good long term solution for only half the price of a tire. Every set of Mich Pilot variants, from version 1 on, get much louder over time, probably because of rubber compound stiffening. IOWs, the tread outlasts the compound. Another solution is dump the Cup 2s. I upgraded my RWD F-Type from Cup 2s to R888Rs and traction is *substantially* improved. My tire journey, so far, when compared to one another on a 50/50 RWD 700HP 3600lb F-Type: *OEM P-Zero* 100 noise, 100 dry grip, 100 wet *Michelin 4S* 100 noise, 130 dry grip, 160 wet *Michelin Cup 2* 150 noise, 160 dry grip, 80 wet *Toyo R888R* 150 noise, 220 dry grip, 80 wet Point is, Cup 2 performance is not worth the noise. There are quieter or higher performing choices for about the same money.

It's called Black Hole 5. A multi density foam for diffracting the back wave of driver in high end home built speakers. Very well know in the home audio world. Very good stuff! I have it in my home built speakers. I would imagine it would work well in this application or any car for that matter. Looks like it is perfectly cut for the rear. Looks like a great product!

Especially since they would pretty much just flop around with spirited driving and/or just hard braking. I have a question… I have the JL Audio Stealthbox, do you know how that will fit in the C7 with the Stealthbox installed and will it distort the sound of the Stealthbox? I had the JL Audio installed because with my tonneau top off of the car I couldn’t hear my sound system on the highway.. thank you .

I would totally recommend getting the Lloyd mats, I got them for both the front seats and cargo , really nice mats. Regarding this product I may consider this for road trips. Around town I'm typically in 3rd or 4th gear and all I hear is my exhaust, Even short trips in the highway I tend to stay in 5th gear often so mostly exhaust sound. However I did have to do something recently that was an hour away and I noticed cruising on the highway with the valves closed wasn't that enjoyable after a while so this would probably help

The sound level was about the same, the biggest thing it’s reducing is a drone from your tires which is not the loudest thing you will hear in the interior so a decibel meter isn’t going to help describe what it is that this mat does
