Excellent and useful but leave the screen examples viewable longer, they flash in a second or two before my mind can process.

Fabulous video Maria Fernanda. Is there an easy way for me to select videos that you have done? I appreciate the videos done by the other maestras as well, but your diction when speaking Spanish sounds most like what I hear (and don't understand) on the street in Mexico. Your speed, rhythm and cadence is what I have to learn to understand by ear, and perhaps to imitate. As in English, native Spanish speakers either leave out or combine syllables when speaking naturally. The text goes by pretty fast, but all I have to do is pause the screen that shows the text, then run the difficult audio several times until my ear can pick out the individual words. I see some of the commenters have complained about your use of "checar" instead of "chequear", however this is accepted Mexican usage and 140,000,000 Mexicans can't be wrong. The RAE is just going to have to change ;-)

Hola. ¡me encantan sus videos! ¿Puedo hacer una surgencia? In English we don't say "I don't have certainty' but we say "I'm not sure" or "I am not sure." We don't use the phrase "I don't have certainty," but I know that is the actual translation from Spanish to English...gracias.

The print on the screen should be twice as large and sometimes do a pause to give the viewer time to read it

How about the phrase “que sé yo?”
@ulisesdiale4004
@ulisesdiale4004 2 жыл бұрын
It's asking 'what do I know?', meaning that you have no clue. It's used here in Argentina very frequently, but I'm not sure about other countries. I don't think it's that common in Mexico though

You are lovely ladies, however. I for one can't learn this way. I have tried 8-10 of your videos. Different fonts, and colors, backgrounds and lighting flying by. Can't keep up reading and listening to two language., As a beginner, that sincerely tried, several times, I was left feeling pretty dumb...
