But is the judgement even legal? I did not find anything saying that a sarpanch in Bengal needs to have education in the law. Isn't the whole panchayat responsible to comply and not just the Sarpanch? The panchayat would ideally have to declare her unfit by a vote of no confidence and not the court, IMO. Looks like a Kangaroo court judgement. And what is this weird thing with still have a typist? There is a modern mike system but no computer or laptop?
