Stop the second punch - Shaolin Kempo Karate - Self Defense

Practice against a single punch is still something akin to theoretical practice or ideal phase practice. Before going live we can take another step by having the attacker throw a second punch. Again, this is not the same as training for a consensual fight. This is self defense in a scenario where we cannot leave, are caught by surprise and there are no rules and no referee and maybe the attacker has friends. Contact, positioning and follow through must control the attacker and at least take the juice out of any second punch.

Thete is a documentary where several high profile "masters of defense" teaching on youtuve various theorerical technics , were put to test against several real life scenario. None of them passed. Period.

Sir. Please excuse my ignorance. Is this the Doshin So Shorinji Kenpo style? Or is this a variant? I just enjoy every art for what it brings to the individual as well as the history behind it. I hope all is well with you and yours. Osu.

Hello, This is an eclectic style that has roots from Japan and China and has mostly evolved in the USA starting in Hawaii. www.shaolinkempo.ca has some of the history listed.

Look up Doshin So. Martial arts from different countries are not as different technically as you might think. Most martial artists know this
