Finally someone said it! Everyone celebrates raising funds infact you have burden to return value to the share holders. No business in the face of earth can survive without making profits. Startup Growth is a fallacy! And IPOs are not to sell your shares and make profits.

It is akin to scoring marks proves your knowledge. Raising funds is no mean job. Investor needs to be convinced to part away from their hard earned money. And convinced that their money is in the hands of a responsible person. Startup flow is like - problem-idea-solution-scale-monetize Entrepreneur journey begins with a problem and idea. Sometimes solution needs funds and if not, scaling will definitely need it. Raising funds will help attaining the next step. Someone trusted your vision only assures that you have a company. Either in success or failure. It is only when you are able to monetize, you can claim success. If you are able to acquire customers without freebies or atleast able to convert them into repeat customers without freebies, you can be assured that they are convinced with your product/services. Else, they could be fans of only freebies.
