I'm a warlock main, my fireteam does not rely on a well so I'm free to run something more fun. Swarmers strand build Mindspun Invocation / The Wanderer aspects - Quicksilver Storm / Indebted Kindness (LfG / Voltshot) / Apex Predator (Reconstruction / Bait and Switch). Suspend and unravel for days and proc Bait and Switch for beefier targets. Fun Fun Fun. Currently at 686 Trophies and plan to find out the cap tonight, for a change of pace Master lost sectors are also dropping brave weapons (Not had a shiny yet but you never know) also get 2 Trophies per run.

Returning warlock here- I have enjoyed the combo of contraverse hold, graviton lance, devour, mountaintop (fortunate roll with recombination/auto-loading holster). Charge a vortex grenade and chuck it into a pile of enemies. Get unstable rounds for graviton, go to town til graviton runs out or until a yellow bar shows up, switch to mountaintop for a pile of damage. Devour stays up most of the time. Same loop for bosses: add clear grenade/grav for recombination proc. A really easy/satisfying dps loop for returning and new players.

For those returning for just 5-6 days of Into the Light, you can easily get all the weapons in that period of time. Use the builds Aztecross recommends and get the kills using a Shuro Chi checkpoint. Recommended weapons to use to grind out the kills are Osteo Striga (smg), Witherhoard (grenade launcher), Outbreak Perfected or Graviton Lance (pulse rifle), Sunshot (hand cannon) and Polaris Lance (scout rifle). Use Onslaught for the weapon drops and the Brave tokens. The only thing that is a slow process is racking up precision kills, where required.

7:45 as a warlock main i suggest ember of benevolence fragment and the boots of the assember not only are you creating healing seekers for allys youre also extending the rifts duration and with ember of benevolence youre recharging all your abilities very quick which means even more rifts healing grenades and snaps might even be able to toss in the stag exotic for a quick swap to get that survivability back

I have a feeling that this isn't Bungie doubling shiny drops, they're just putting it to where it should have been in the first place. Titan build: Loreley Splendor build/siphon mods/triple 🔥 surge mods/and any mods or fragments that regenerate class ability (im consistently getting my class ability back every 7 or 8 seconds). Preferably Heliocentric with heal clip/incandescent, but anything with that perk combo will do, and Dragons breath. Helio stuns barrier champs, concentration melee stuns unstop champs, Dragons Breath stuns both overload and unstop champs. Its all about survival.

My theory is breaking down weapons now just give you useless Legendary Shards, but in the Final Shape, I imagine you'll get some kind of new resource when you break gear down and I'm banking on getting a good start on that.

For me, the main issue with Onslaught is not about weapon drops. We already had an abundance of them before the drop rates were increased. Increasing the chance of getting more shiny variants doesn't excite me because the problem will still remain: the extremely low chance of getting desired rolls. I know because the increased drop rates this week didn't increase my chances of getting desired rolls AT ALL. In my experience, it's easier to obtain near-perfect rolls (4.5/5) or the almost non-existent 5/5 for some weapons compared to others. The biggest offender has been Elsie's Rifle, which is unfortunately the weapon I desire the most. It's an absolute pain to farm that weapon.

A nice titan build for onslaught I'm rocking is solar with stronghold, with lament or throne cleaver if you want to use sunshot. Anything, even you teammates can procc perfect guard so you will have constant resto 2x and beeing able to stand in the middle of the boss room and tank everything is so satisfying. You don't even need a decoy for the tormentors become you are the decoy, it cant do shit to you. Highly recommend to try it out.

This is funny I have a buddy who runs a similar build and it seems like he's invincible. I just ran a random onslaught with blueberries and we wiped at wave 42 standing in my warlock well while dpsing the big brig. What caused our wipe? TWO EXPLODER SHANKS came from behind and killed all three of us, but well is soo damned OP Bungie decided to COMPLETELY neuter it beyond any practical use.

I'd suggest for people to first of all and Edge Transit with Envious and Bait and Switch. Absolute must have for DPS, and if it's a shiny with cascade and Explosive light as extra perks, it would be perfect. Then, go for Mountaintop with Recombination and autoloading with stickys and spikes. Maybe a Forbearance with Ambitious and Chain Reaction, but waveframes are getting nerfed/reworked next season, so keep that in mind. Everything else is up to you and your playstyle.

TITANS: there’s no better survival / destructive build than Solar titan with precious scars, heal clip/incandescent weapon ( with auto loading/recombination mountain top & parasite for instant massive damage on saboteurs) and a constant consecration slam mod set up. I’ve gone on constant 50 wave clears while having literally double to kills than the hunter and warlock on my team. Just yesterday warlock: 450 kills hunter:430 kills me: 970 kills on a legend 50 wave. I would even say in TFS this build with the new healing solar AR and incoming well nerf will outclass every other build on any character in team support.

I'm trying to figure out if farming 10 on Legend is better than farming 50 on normal. So far its been hard to tell. What I still like about the legend farm is just not having to commit to a 50 run. While not difficult there is still something exhausting about running to 50.

@@saxonmcleod3918 My clanmates and I did timed runs and 10 waves on legend was faster than 50 waves on legend and netted more loot overall because of how much faster we were able to get 10 waves completed. We found that the first 20 waves on legend was pretty quick, however when you hit level 30 the amount of time it takes to get to boss rounds started to drag out. The only benefits we found to doing full 50 legend runs was the addition of more tokens per chest and prisms/goldballs being added to the later chests. We didn't see any increase in gold weapon drop rate though. All that said, what i want to know is, with the massive increase in gold drops and tokens will normal 50 wave now be better than 10 legend wave based on how easy 50 waves of normal is.

also one roll of edge transit is quick launch, mini frags (sticky??) with cascade/envious in 3rd and either bait and switch OR explosive light, with deconstruct, i have a 4 shot high explosive ordinance and mostly bc of the massive blast radius hitting red bars in a large area i managed to spit my drink out at a 12 shot dump.... ok so the (sticky?) ive been told over procs with deconstruct, dumping your entire reserves with enough time, plus cascade proc-ing with a rapid fire sniper pulls huge numbers

Message for New or Returning Players: as someone with way too much time in this game (just broke 18k hours. no that's not a joke) the MUST have Brave weapons imo are: Luna's Howl for pvp (my roll is Full Bore, Accurized Rounds, Slideshot, Precision Instrument) and Edge Transit for pve. idk what a single perfect edge would be, but high Velocity and low Blast, pref with Spike Nades, and anything with Bait & Switch or Explosive Light will do you well. for must use builds; Orpheus Rigs Hunter, spec yourself for class ability uptime, and decent Recovery/Resilience. use anything that gives invis. Graviton Lance goes hard with a build like this, if not Orpheus then Gyrfalcon. Titan i recommend Pyrogale with Dragon's Breath. high Resilience and Intellect. everything spec'd towards Restoration Warlocks i recommend well. lotta good options too, Phoenix Protocol, Sunbracers, Starfire, even Mantle of Battle Harmony. Dragon's Breath here too, or Gjallarhorn if you have it (if you REALLY grinded hard and got an Apex the nthat for more offense and less support) none of these recs are quirky or "fun" but super strong and very consistent, hopefully it helps someone out there somewhere

Depending on the survivability of the new solar super, it may be the new best. If not I don’t think many will switch off well, but it won’t be so much “you don’t have well? Get out of my raid then!” Stuff. Void is hella survivable, and strand can be as well, both with having decent damage dealing supers, but nothing for support really. My main points were to help for the next two weeks or so lol. Sad to see we’ll get hit this hard but it was long over due tbh

"Doubling" of the flashy drops means nothing really, as the drop rate is clearly lower than exotics. A doubling of 0.5% chance is 1%. Won't make much difference at all. Bungie are also being smart about this and getting you grinding ONLY Destiny before TFS, so you're more likely to buy TFS as the game is on your mind constantly.

I ran through with an lfg warlock who had pheonix protocol and I was on orpheus hunter. I printed orbs for him and he printed orbs for me. We both had multiple supers per wave. There were some waves where we both cast 2-3 supers each. The solar hunter in our team basically didn’t do anything cause he couldn’t lmao

Chase shiny weapons as they're master worked and can be recycled for materials that'll be useful for Final Shape. For new players Leveling & resetting Shaxx rewards extra weapon traits, get Edge Transit, Hammerhead and a Guillotine sword, the movement helps in legend Zero Hour ✌️

For real though, for Warlocks if you wanna do a fun build, do Threadlings all the way. It's the last week we will have Horde Shuttle from the seasonal artifact mods to see all the Threadlings swarm on enemies like a tsunami. It's also just a really ammo efficient and has great area denial. For the boss waves, switch to Well of Radiance instead because, you won't be killing jack shit in that room.

Stasis warlock, osmiomancy, random primary, tyranny of heaven, parasite. Parasite is for nuking champs in one shot. Solar surge on the legs, obviously stasis and solar artifact mods

so i noticed that chest in the call of champs likes to drop about 5-8 of your attunement right after switching attunes, with one random breaking in the middle or about every 3, so switching two attunesments might more so sway your drops bc after 10 or so i started pulling everything randomly with high chance to double pull my atunement probably just one of those RNG days but it worked all day, still 700 trophies left

Week-long Raid event !!!!SOS!!! So before the launch of Final Shape, I want to do a week long destiny raid event. The goal is each day of the final week of the season right before Final Shape launches, I want to complete a raid.
