@@fixitallpaul4847 Thank you! My reservoir is over a gallon, but I always use it within a couple months, with good reason.. So, I prefer whatever is cheap lol, but I also prefer whatever really works, because I wanna "soak" that glass, but not several times.. I've always liked O'Reilly's purple colored one, very cheap, and it has actually cleaned "the" best for me, it even beats RainX, which was more expensive! All the bugs and damning tree sap, the tree sap is almost daily, I hate it. It all does come off.. but not immediately when it comes to the sap... I'm going to spend the little extra, to mix a little Windex in there, hopefully it helps clean better, maybe I won't have to use as much anymore. I really appreciate the reply! And, I wonder.. if maybe you should check out the stuff I use.. c: it handles bugs really well! Tree sap is just naturally a B lol

No, it's best to just use it when it rains. I find the wipers work worse when using them in dry weather. Besides, it's best to just wait until you're parked and hand wash off the bugs. The best part of this stuff is that you can mix it and it'll still work, meaning you only have to pour a portion of it into your fluid compart me with water like mixing cream in coffee ☕️.

I have an RV and my windshield kept fogging up. The dealer used steel wool to clean it. I thought I needed a new windshield. One day I bought vinegar window cleaner at a dollar store and no more fog! I can finally clean my windshield. Then I put it in my RV tank for wiper fluid. Works great!!!
@larrywhalen596
@larrywhalen596 Жыл бұрын
Shoulda, Woulda, Couda, But Didn't file a suite in Small Claims Court for a new windshield - steel wool on a glass windshield or worse yet an acrylic rear window, (like the older Vettes used to have), is pretty much the same as parking your vehicle in an area where a sand storm is expected. Warm, soapy water on a sunny day, but in a shaded area while using a sponge with a blue nylon pad is about the better choice for cleaning glass - never any acrylic surface, BTW, whether it's clear, such as your headlamp covers, or colored, meaning rear tail light covers or turn signal shrouds as it will scratch them. Obviously the same goes for the vehicles paint job and chrome bumpers. Thoroughly rinse with warm water - hint - use your garden hose which has been laying out on your lawn in the Sun for a few hours and that should do it, (But make sure it is NOT SCALDING HOT !) ; after that wet your sponge in the warm (soapy) water to lightly dislodge the fine dust left behind a couple of times and then very lightly use the blue Nylon surface to completely remove all dirt which will still be left upon the exterior surface of your windows as they will be lightly pitted due to everyday driving, thus the extra effort to go over the windshield at least twice.

I live in Connecticut. My mom uses quicky lube places put watered-down fluid into her reservoir. Wound up cracking the reservoir. I would imagine you would want to be careful if you take your car from a cold State into a warm State and have it serviced where they might top off the washer fluid. I'd say it's a high probability it's not going to be -20 stuff. I do know they make a fluid that goes even and it is purple.
